ABOUT Courtney Woznek
I grew up bass and crappie fishing with a cane pole in my home state of North Carolina. Since earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from East Carolina University (Go Pirates), and meeting my husband Kirk, we have lived and fished up and down the East Coast. From trout fishing in Pennsylvania streams to snapper fishing in the Keys, I enjoy catching all species of fresh and saltwater fish and have truly found my passion in life.
Moving to Jacksonville completely changed the direction of my fishing prowess so without a boat, and only dabbling in the kayak game, I took to the beach to learn everything about surf fishing. Through trials and tribulations, I dialed in reading the new waters and finding the fish. From bull reds and pompano to blacktip sharks and tarpon, I have caught it all from the beach but I continue to seek out new fishing experiences throughout Florida and around the world. In early 2021 we welcomed a Key West 1720 Center Console to the family and cannot wait to explore the inshore waters of Northeast Florida. When I am not fishing, you’ll find me cooking the catch of the day and creating new recipes.
