The Bible.
I’m pleased to report that I’m 98% done reading the entire Bible this year.
I’m also pleased to report that it was pretty easy with the daily “One Year Bible” (see it here on Amazon) where you basically read about 15 minutes every morning and wake up at the end of the year and you’ve read the entire Bible.
Listen in as I share some really cool discoveries and trends that I found in the Bible.
Hope you enjoy (and I hope you’ll take the One Year Bible Challenge yourself next year).
Enjoy this episode and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

You have my word I will read every single message (although it might be tough for me to get all of them considering the tens of thousands of people will read and see this).
Finally, I’d really appreciate it if you’d take a second to SHARE this with your friends and family.

Joe,
I enjoyed the encouraging podcast. I have studied the Bible a lot in the last few years but I have never read it through in a year, but will be doing it in 2022!
The Bible is the way God speaks to us and the way we grow to know Him.
One of the most meaningful things I have learned recently is how the Old Testament comes alive when you realize that it all points to Jesus beginning even in Genesis.
One of my favorites is the last plague in Exodus when the Death Angel passed over the homes marked with the blood of the Lamb. It is a foreshadowing of Jesus being our Lamb that allows us the opportunity to be seen as clean from sin before God, and having what we deserve “pass over” us.
Keep reading, learning, and growing!

Good stuff, Phillip! Love this. Appreciate you buddy. Merry Christmas!
Hey guys thanks for the awesome podcast! I love what all of you do for the fishing community. I really appreciate the courage you show with your unchurched segments as well. While I truly appreciate anyone that spreads Gods word I have to say that I disagree with a few things and just want to touch base about them. By no means am I trying to cause controversy in a negative way. Social media needs no more of that as we all know but I have to say that man has been trying to follow the 10 commandments since Moses brought them off the mountain and have miserably failed at it ever since. Unfortunately the majority populous couldn’t care less about them in present times. Nevertheless it’s literally why Jesus came to earth to die for us. Do you remember reading where Jesus said in the Bible that if a man look upon another woman in lust he has already committed adultery in his heart and is guilty. He also stated that if anyone hates his brother he is guilty of murder. Idolatry is a sin we have all committed. At some point we have all worshiped something more than God. Even you admitted to it in the podcast. We all have lied. The so called “ little white ones “make us just as guilty as the “ big ones “. When we were children did we always honor our mother and father? We all dealt with discipline as kids. The Bible tells us when we are found guilty of one of the commandments, we are guilty of all. In other words you’re either all in or your not in at all. The 10 commandments were written to show us there is no way we can get to heaven on our own and we needed a flawless savior to vouche for us on our behalf. Point is we are flawed and there is no way for us to be perfect and that’s the only way you can enter into heaven. The Good news is someone who was all man and all God at the same time named Jesus was perfect, and died for us to wipe our sins away if we trust in him and receive him into our hearts. Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 and 9 tell us that by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast. The definition of Grace is unmerited favor. I’m other words it’s something we didn’t work for and certainly didn’t deserve. John 3:16 doesn’t say that for God so loved the world that he wrote the 10 commandments. Love y’all keep up the good work! We enjoy listening and will continue to do so.
Good stuff, Josh! Appreciate you taking the time to post this. Certainly no human can be perfect and I hope I never said anything that would make it sound like we had to be perfect stewards of the 10 commandments. My whole point was that if we at least “followed” the 10 commandments and tried our best to live by them, the world would be a better place. For instance, if our society was only perfect on one out ten (you shall not kill) then we’d all be celebrating. Kind of hard to argue with that. Merry Christmas!
