Is it a coincidence that a month after we posted, “5 Reasons Fishing Should Be In The 2020 Olympics” that a 64-year old international fishing organization submitted an official request to get fishing in the 2020 Toyko games?

We think not…

And although it is exciting news that The International Sport Fishing Confederation (CIPS) has submitted an official request to the Olympic officials, they are already hearing negative feedback that fishing is boring and based too much on luck…

  • Skateboarding
  • Surfing
  • Climbing
  • Karate
  • Baseball/softball
