Fishing Officially Submitted To The 2020 Olympic Games, But Critics Say Fishing Is Too Boring!

Is it a coincidence that a month after we posted, “5 Reasons Fishing Should Be In The 2020 Olympics” that a 64-year old international fishing organization submitted an official request to get fishing in the 2020 Toyko games?
We think not…
And although it is exciting news that The International Sport Fishing Confederation (CIPS) has submitted an official request to the Olympic officials, they are already hearing negative feedback that fishing is boring and based too much on luck…

Anglers, we have to unite together and show some support here.
We have more anglers in the world than almost any of the other sports out there, and there is no reason we can’t have a spot in the next Olympics.
To give you an idea of the new sports that have already been APPROVED for the 2020 Olympics, here they are:
- Skateboarding
- Surfing
- Climbing
- Karate
- Baseball/softball
