Full LAMP Stack Jr Developer needed for a fun & fast-growing fishing company

Who are we?

Salt Strong is the largest and fastest-growing saltwater fishing club in America. We help saltwater anglers catch more fish (in less time) and save money on their fishing tackle.

And we’re looking for a graphic designer who, above all, is reliable, has amazing graphic design skills, and has an excellent work ethic. This involves being hard-working, patient, knowledgeable, and flexible.

And, we are looking for a highly skilled developer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full stack developer will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside other developers, ux and graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

Full stack developer will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• 4+ Years experience as full stack developer.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, PHP.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL.
  
• AWS (RDS, EB, EC2, CloudFront) experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to interact, navigate and adapt to challenges in an ever-changing environment, managing expectations of multiple teams
• Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities effectively
• Self-motived individual

Responsibilities:

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
