Can you count all of the different species in this video?

Wow!

The toughest part about this spearfishing video was trying to pick out the best thumbnail as there were so many of them to choose from.

This guy (Diego Santiago) clearly knows where to find the fish.

There were a couple of times when he couldn’t pull the trigger because there were actually too many fish in the school.

Even had a few whales come into close view towards the end.

And the tuna hopping over the log to get bait at the very end was epic!

Holy Snook School!

Spearfisherman Justin Buehler recently went diving in the Miami inlet (the edge of the inlet dredge) to do some spearfishing and came across this massive school of spawning snook!

Talk about a snook honey hole!

See if you can find the hogfish and a few grouper in the mix.

I certainly don’t remember learning Triggernometry back when I was in school…

Check out this awesome short-film that Columbia put together on fly fishing for triggerfish off Farquhar Island (Seychelles).

They brought 6 top fly fishing guides to see just how well they could do when it came to catching tailing triggerfish.

Not as easy as it sounds.

But after a couple of days of getting skunked, the bite finally turned on.

Pretty awesome!

Have you ever caught a tailing, toothy, triggerfish before?

If not, might be time to study up on your triggernometry.

The meaning of low tide…

Some great quotes from this awesome short video of a man’s quest for low-tide redfish in Charleston, South Carolina.

Regardless if you are into fly fishing or not, there is nothing cooler than tracking down redfish in ultra low tides.

It’s hunting on water.

“Holy Crabapples!”

“Holy Cows!”

These were some of the classic lines that Viva Frei used in the video below after he landed his largest bass ever… all while trolling with a drone.

Wait until you see the topwater strike that happened within seconds of him trolling in Lake Chaplain.

It’s a pretty decent bass, and certainly one that Viva won’t forget.

Love seeing someone get this excited about catching a fish.

4-year old Kellan Hunt has done it again…

Talk about putting on a fishing clinic.

In just one afternoon this little guy lands more snook than many adults will land in an entire year… all from a stand-up paddleboard!

Check out how many snook and trout he lands while out fishing with his dad (Courtland Hunt from the viral Glock lionfish video) and his legendary inshore guide Capt. Scott Moore.

I think we can all agree that we need more young kids like this getting involved in fishing. Makes me smile seeing how much this young man loves the sport.

More tackle boxes and fewer Xboxes!

This could be Redfish Heaven!

A while back I posted a video called, “The Biggest School of Redfish Ever Captured on Film” (if you never saw it, make sure to watch it here).

And in that Redfish post, I asked any and all anglers to send me video footage of a bigger school of redfish (if it existed).

I heard from a few people that had seen larger schools of redfish, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any video footage of it.

And then I heard from Harry Heath Huelsbeck from Pensacola, FL.

He sent me this redfish video below that was nothing short of AWESOME.

Not to mention, Harry accomplished the following feats with this redfish video:

Certainly the biggest school of redfish captured on film
He catches a ton of redfish on a fly rod
He puts in some fist-pumping music for some extra icing on the cake

Well done Harry.

It is pretty clear why you are screaming up at the sky yelling, “Holy Redfish School!”

And if this doesn’t get you fired up about catching winter Redfish, I can only assume you hate puppies and icecream as well.

It’s one thing to actually freedive down to 196 feet, but it’s an entirely different ballgame to spear a fish.

Holy smokes!

I wonder how long these guys can hold their breath while not moving!

What was really cool was to see the diver’s view coming up to the surface starting around the 1:33 mark.

I can’t even imagine looking up and seeing 190 feet in between me and the surface!

The only thing that came as a surprise was I figured they would be going after some monster fish if they went that far down.

But I will hold my tongue as I have nothing but respect for anyone that can safely get down that deep.

These guys are Salt Strong no doubt!

I have to admit that I’ve played a few fishing pranks in my life.

From hiding a banana on my friend’s boat to hiding bait fish in my brother’s shorts, a few innocent pranks among fellow anglers is part of the experience sometimes.

But I never thought about using a crutch to play a fishing prank.

Check out how this guy fools his buddy a few times before he discovers what is going on.
