Downtown spotted seatrout. Jiggin' the bottom. This is a rare catch here in west palm as we do not get these that often. This is the 3rd one I've seen caught in 10 years down here. A real treat so I gave it to my folks for dinner as it's their favorite fish to eat.
We brought this nurse shark aboard due to a large amount of monofilament wrapped and tangled in its gills, quite a handful and sounded like it was trying to sucks the gel coat off the deck of the boat. Pretty cool to see one up close and personal.
Port saint lucie,
Trolled and casted for these Spanish Mackerel. They were scattered jumping out of the water and grouped in schools suspended at 15' in 25' of water. We caught well over 30 this morning in an hours time. Caught them at Pecks Lake just south of the Saint lucie inlet.
Sorry, not a saltwater fish, but I think it's worth a post. One of my 21 Largemouth caught in one day. Never caught a largemouth until this day. PB that day was 5lb, next was 4lb. Then the rest average from 1 & 1/2 to 2 lb.
WHAT A DAY!!!
