The cheat sheets are broken down by:
- Season
- Morning vs Afternoon
- Weather conditions (sunny/cloudy)
- Clean water vs Dirty water
And the lures are in order of what to use first and then what to change up to if that’s not productive.
Here are the PDF Cheat Sheets by season:
Lures listed on the cheat sheets are linked below, and can be found at FishStrong.com

This is awesome Tony thank you sir.
My pleasure Stan!
I guess the only question I have is how do you download the off season sheets I tried clicking on each season and nothing happens in the past if I downloaded anything I just clicked on it but for some reason it doesn’t do anything?
Interesting…
When I click on each season a new window pops up with the sheet. Make sure you don’t have any pop up blockers on.
Great help Tony. I don’t get out much, this will make my time out more productive.
Hey Craig! Glad it can help!
Good idea. I’m going to take it further and make spread sheets for the different conditions and keep track of the number of fish caught on each lure. I will include OTHER, for any lure not listed.
Awesome!
Do you guys have all these lures in a kit ready to go .
Hey Louis! Not at the moment, they are sold individually on the shop page.
What a great guide for those of us northerners who don’t get the time on water to figure these options out. What a great asset you guys and gals are to our members.
Thank you for the awesome feedback Kenneth!
You have Clear and Murky water but what do you consider Brackish water?
Hey Paul!
Brackish refers to saltwater that is mixed with freshwater, so it doesn’t really pertain to water clarity. If you are referring to stained water (which is somewhat clear but has a red/brown tint to it), it would depend on how stained it is. If it is closer to the clear spectrum I would focus on the clear side of the chart. If it’s more cloudy than clear I would focus on the murky side of the chart.
Very nice, Tony! This will be a great reference for us that haven’t grasped the tricks to use for each condition.
Thank you for the great feedback Eric!
Very cool info, thanks for taking the time to put this together!
My pleasure Matt!
Great idea! I combined them into one and saved to Evernote. Easy to reference at anytime.
Good stuff Bill!
