Incredibly Scary Bull Shark Attack Captured On Film!

Talk about every spearfisherman’s worst nightmare…

An unprovoked bull shark cruising right at you with open jaws!

You have mere split seconds to react… what do you do?

It’s tough to say what any of us would have done in this situation, but here is how it played out for Danny Hendricks of Liquid Vision.

Some people were angry he pulled the trigger, while others say he had no choice as the aggressive bull shark was not backing down even after a spear gun was down his throat.

Looking through the somewhat controversial comments on this new YouTube video, here was one revealing another diver’s similar experience when he didn’t have a speargun:

“Yes, this exact scenario happened to me four years ago, the only difference is that I didn’t have a speargun so I was bitten in the calf area. I made it to the surface with only one fin. Today I can walk and dive almost normally again. Never underestimate sharks, they are unpredictable wild animals.”

What do you think?

Let us know in the comments.

Note: this shark encounter recently happened in northern Australia

Those “angry” individuals have obviously never encounter a bull shark in the water let alone any other shark.

RE: “Some people were angry that he pulled the trigger.”

My comment is that who but an psychotic liberal jerk would argue against the guy protecting himself from being mauled by a shark?? Answer: The Sierra Club, Earth First, and other radical environmental groups whose members would prefer to protect the life of an animal over the life of a human being.

Actually if you freeze frame it, you’ll see that the rubbers are broken no doubt by the sharks teeth from the thrashing. It only takes a tiny nick to break them at that tension. But the real tell tail sign that he didn’t pull the trigger is that on impact with the spear tip, the Shark impaled himself thru the nose. You can clearly see this in freeze frame and the shaft being bent actually in the succeeding frames. Plus the fact that he didn’t have time to take the safety off, or have his finger on the trigger. In any case the Free diver didn’t “Shoot” the animal but only acted in self defense. He’s one lucky boy!

Is that supposed to make radical environmentalists feel better? No, because they believe that animal life is more valuable than human life. Just my opinion, but I think it is time to push-back against those who try to give hunters and fishermen a guilt complex to sportsmen about taking the life of animals for food and protecting ourselves from their aggression.
