We’ve had some pretty amazing GT (Giant Trevally) videos on the home page so far this year.

If you missed them, here are the top 3 GT Viral Fishing Videos (you can always come back and watch these after you view the showcase video below)

  • “Barracuda Comes Out of Nowhere and Explodes on GT” (watch it here)
  • “Unbelievable GT Attack on Bait Pod” (watch it here)
  • “Giant Trevally Steals GoPro and Leaves Wicked Bite Marks!” (watch it here)

And we are pleased to add this new video, “Shark Attacks GT” right on the flats in front of angler, to the list. After watching it a few times to triple check that it was indeed a girl screaming (and not a guy screaming like a girl), I can’t stop laughing every time I hear her scream as the shark approaches her feet.

Hope you enjoy this new GT video.

P.S. – If you liked this video and think you friends would enjoy, please share. Pa-POW!

A few weeks ago I posted a Snook video that got shared like crazy on the social networks called “The Biggest School of Snook Ever Captured on Film” (watch it here next).

And even though I was VERY clear that I didn’t think it was the biggest school of Snook in history, I did believe it was the biggest school of Snook ever caught on film (as the title implied).

As you can probably imagine, it received countless comments on Facebook from anglers that claimed to have seen much bigger schools of Snook in the past.

But after I kindly replied back to each person that the headline was a question and not a statement… AND that if they have any video footage of a bigger school of Snook then I will quickly exchange their video for the one on the Salt Strong post…

Let’s just say the original Snook video is still up and taking on any and all challengers.

Well, this week my brother Luke sent me this Redfish video that fits the same criteria as the Snook video: An almost unbelievable school of Redfish, so much so that it is impossible to even gauge the actual amount of reds as they are stacked up so deep, and spread so far.

Amazing Redfish footage from Capt. Paul Sonnen! Thank you for sharing.

Anglers, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Is this the largest school of Redfish on film, or can someone send me a Redfish video that beats it?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comment section below.

I have seen a lot of snook honey holes along with a bunch of amazing snook lights in my day, and I am pretty certain that this is the most snook I have ever seen in one place… And certainly the most snook on video.

Notice in the video below that this snook school keeps on going (even outside of the lighted area) as he pans around with his camera phone. And the snook are on a few different depth levels as well.

Talk about the Ultimate Snook School!

Sadly, I don’t think the Snook are as abundant in Florida (like they used to be in this video) since the big freeze a few years back. However, it is certainly getting better every year.

And if someone does have any footage of snook schools that are bigger than this, then please forward it over as I would love to see it.

My only problem with this video is “Why Isn’t Anyone Fishing!!!”

This snook frenzy footage was captured by Tom Gidus a few years ago at the Square Grouper, Castaways Marina, which is in Jupiter, FL (near the sighting of the most recent great white shark encounter – see that video here).

Enjoy this amazing snook footage, and please forward it on to someone you know that loves Snook. Thank you.

This new video from BlacktipH (featuring Captain Ben Chancey from Chew on This) is proof that Florida is the Fishing Capital of the World.

In one afternoon, the fishing duo goes from catching MONSTER Jacks, to Tarpon, to Goliath Grouper, and even take a few stabs at catching Snook.

I can’t imagine a better day on the water (unless you throw in a few redfish), so kudos to BlackipH on another great video.

P.S. – Did anyone else notice the awesome hat Captain Ben Chancey was wearing? #saltstrong

P.P.S. – If you liked this fishing video, don’t be shy about liking it or sharing it. It’s what makes the Internet so darn fun.

If you like fly fishing for inshore fish (like redfish), then you are going to love this video.

And this video certainly gives new meaning to “fishing the grass flats…”

These guys (Mosquito Lagoon fly fishing guides Capt. Billy Rotne of Tailhunter Charters and Capt. Willy Le of Native Fly Charters) head out during a flood tide in the backcountry of St. Augustine, Florida for some amazing fly fishing footage on the fly.

Not sure about you, but this video has me wanting to hit the water right now in search of some redfish.

Well done gents.

And if you think your friends would find this video amazing, please share it with them – I’d really appreciate it. Fish On!

Good, you made it…

And I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with this one-of-a-kind fly fishing video.

I’m also glad that I didn’t have to give any more reasons for you to watch it, as 10,000 already seemed a bit too extravagant… So why 10,000?

Well, as you will see in the video, this spectacular footage was all filmed down in the Ten Thousand Islands area of Florida. An area that is uninhabited for the most part, and it a huge labyrinth of water, small islands, and mangroves.

It was home to many native American Indians, and today is one of the best places in Florida to go skinny water fishing. You just have to make sure you don’t get lost or run out of gas or supplies…

Great job goes to Patrick Rhea and Nick Shirghio of Livit Films for this video. It is clear you guys put some serious hours in both the trip, and the editing.

It turned out perfect.

Blair Wiggins puts on another “CLINIC” as he shows us how to catch bull redfish in this short fishing clip…

Because in this video, Captain Blair Wiggins of Addictive Fishing heads out in Mosquito Lagoon, FL with Captain Troy Perez in search of some big bull Redfish…

And Captain Blair Wiggins does not disappoint, as he lands two nice redfish in this short clip.

Makes me wish I was out on the flats catching redfish right now!

How about you?

GOOSEBUMPS!

Yep this jungle tarpon fishing video gave me Goosebumps.

After watching “The Best Tarpon Video To Ever Come Out Of Boca Grande” that went SUPER-VIRAL (watch it here), I didn’t think we would come across a Tarpon video that would compete with it any time soon.

But this “Early Morning Jungle Tarpon Fishing” video is right up there with the all-time best Tarpon videos of all time. The slow-mo shots of the tarpon jumping are sick, and when you see the first tarpon jump while going after the bait fish, you will know why this gave me goosebumps.

This amazing Tarpon video was filmed by GetAway Tours with the help of the Tapam Jungle Poon Adventure guides in Nicaragua.

If this doesn’t get you excited about Tarpon fishing, then God have mercy on your soul…

P.S. – The first part of this video start off slow, but you have my word that if you watch this entire video, you will be rewarded. Enjoy!

P.P.S. – Let us know which tarpon video you thought was the best in the comment section. This “Jungle Tarpon” or the Boca Grande Tarpon (you can watch it here next)

If you have ever been fishing for redfish on the flats or even out in the bay, then you know they aren’t always the easiest fish to catch.

Redfish can be finicky eaters at times, they can spook easily, and it takes a sometimes flawless presentation when sight casting for a redfish…

That is MOST of the time…

In this video, you get a glimpse of what I call “REDFISH MECCA“.

Redfish stacked up as far as you can see, probably hitting anything you throw out them.

So if you can’t catch a redfish here, something really is wrong… and it might be time to turn in your fishing license…

Note: this video was filmed with Captain Jamie Glasner of Fin and Fly Charters out of Cocoa Beach, FL

Please share this with someone you know that loves redfish. You Rock!
