If you have ever fished for tarpon, you know that they are one of the toughest fighting fish out there.

They jump, they dive, and they do everything possible to throw the hook.

And if you thought trying to land a tarpon from a boat can be tough, wait until you try to catch a tarpon from a bridge!

It is no wonder that we named this video “Fail Compilation” as it is virtually impossible to “land” a nice tarpon from up high on a bridge (and it was clearly not the angler’s intention of landing the tarpon in this video).

However, it sure looks like one heck of a fun time hooking and jumping the silver king from above.

And based on the note from the Infinity Fishing Team angler that was catching the tarpon in this video, he purposely flattens down the barbs to make sure the tarpon always throws the hook after a couple of jumps.

Hope you enjoy!

It is rare that you see someone catching an amberjack from a dock…

It is even more rare to see someone catch an amberjack from a dock with a hand line…

And it is even more rare than that to see someone catch an amberjack from a dock with a hand line and do what this guy does…

I won’t ruin the ending of this video, as it certainly surprised the heck out of me.

Check it out and give us your thoughts.

What would you have done in the same scenario?

I don’t watch TV often, but when I do, it is usually something like the Wicked Tuna fishing show (or HGTV with my wife / Disney with my two little girls…yeah, I have a soft side)

Anywho, every time I watch the show “Wicked Tuna“, I am always left entertained…

And I also come away saying something along these lines to myself… “Man, those guys from Wicked Tuna certainly know how to hook up with some “Monstah” Tuna…and they certainly are freaking CRAZY!”

However, when my brother Luke sent me this tuna video from the guys at MorningTide Fishing, I didn’t think the Wicked Catch fishermen were as crazy anymore…

Because these bad a$$ anglers from MorningTide take the cake on Extreme Tuna Fishing!

I can assure you that once you start watching this video, you won’t blink an eye as you don’t want to miss anything…

Note: not only is tuna fishing (and running) on slippery rocks while getting pounded with waves crazy dangerous, but these guys take it to an entire new level as the angler’s fishing buddies jump in (with no hesitation) to free the line from the rocks…

Talk about some incredibly loyal first mates!

At any rate, amazing video.

Super entertaining…

Super Crazy…

And I think the Wicked Tuna fishing crew should hook up with these guys from MorningTide Fishing for an episode…we would certainly watch it…

Have you seen this viral video of the Octopus eating the crab yet?

It was captured on a camera phone in Australia, and the sneak attack by the crab-eating octopus is pretty amazing.

Meet the Crab-Eating Octopus

In this video, a crafty octopus is hiding in a small tide pool, and all of a sudden pops out and grabs this unsuspecting poor crab.

It was all caught on video (talk about perfect timing), and the girl had the same expression most of you will probably have…

“Oh S**t, this Octopus is eating the crab!”

Ouch!

This is painful to watch… but it does have somewhat of a happy ending.

In this video, Josh Jorgensen from BlacktipH and the LakeForkGuy almost lose at least $2,000 of fishing equipment to a beast of a stingray on a dock after one of the anglers slips and loses everything.

Lucky these guys are smart and went looking for it.

Check these guys out on YouTube here.

They have some great fishing videos.

Jimmy Nelson of Extreme Fishing Adventures can catch fish just about anywhere…

In this video, Jimmy has just come back from a day out on the water in the Cayman Islands.

And shortly after cutting up some barracuda and throwing a piece out of the cuda with a hook, Jimmy had a tarpon buzzing out his line on at the docks.

Amazingly, Jimmy found to way to land the tarpon without getting cut off around the docks.

He even had to jump on two boats to follow the tarpon during the fight.

Well done!

It was a warm, sunny day on the Navarre Beach Pier in Florida.

The male to female ratio on the pier was probably somewhere in the 90 to 10 ratio (90% men of course).

Yet one young girl schools the guys with her nice king mackerel off the high pier.

After a few missed gaffs, the nice king mackerel makes the journey from the water to the pier deck, and I am certain eventually to a table of hungry anglers.

The best part was around the 8:15 mark where she drags her catch back to her fishing spot, and lets everyone on the pier know who the fishing boss is.
