One of our personal favorite “Boating Strong” videos was “How To Dock A Boat Like A BOSS” (must watch here if you haven’t seen it).

And ever since then, we have been looking for a boating video (and a captain) that could match it…

Well, I think we found him.

This guy somehow managed to find himself in some nasty surf near San Francisco.

Here are the details:

This video was shot by Pete Koff in San Francisco Jan 19th 2013
The boat was a 35ft Donzi boat, the hull did get damaged and there were some pretty serious injuries on board. The owner just put $500 of work into the boat.
The wave is approx 15ft, so you could imagine how hard it came down the back of the wave. The boat stalled out for about 2 min after the jump, then jammed back into SF Bay like a champ.

Fact: Pro surfer Mick Fanning is one lucky dude to walk away from a Great White Shark attack pretty much unscathed

Fact: Pro surfer Mick Fanning is SALT STRONG.

Check out this wild video footage from a professional surfing competition that just happened this weekend.

Definitely a miracle that he escaped this shark attack the way he did!

The French just moved up a notch on my cool factor gauge…

This incredibly rad party wave is called the “Tidal Bore Party Wave” and it is located in France.

With over 70 surfers, SUPs, and even some monstrosity of an Icelandic Viking Canoe (bottom left of screen around the 1:45 timeframe), this video is pretty awesome.

I am not even the best surfer, but this is now officially on my bucket list…

Although I do hope they have clearer water when I am there…

You’ve got to see this surfing pig named “Kama” from Hawaii.

This lovable pig has been surfing with his owner Kai Holt for some time now.

And according to Kai, the surfing pig is pretty darn good at surfing…

He knows when to move up and down on the board, he gets bored with small waves, and even knows how to take great GoPro footage while surfing…

Great video guys!

Here at Salt Strong, we don’t just report on saltwater fishing (although it is the majority of what we publish).

Overall, we enjoy anything or anyone doing “STRONG” things in and around saltwater…

So when we saw this awesome Surfboard transfer in a pipeline, we couldn’t resist sharing.

This is pro surfer Jamie O’Brien showing us that even pink surfboards can become incredibly ‘Strong’ when you do a pink surfboard transfer inside of a pipeline.

Well done Jamie!

Pretty epic surfing trick.
