I bet you can’t watch this video of a guy getting completely creamed by a boat engine rooster tail just one time!

I am still laughing.

Here is what I know:

  • This guy is NUTS!
  • Judgement begins to spiral downwards while drinking beer in a speedo
  • The guy next to him turns into an ostrich at the 15-second mark
  • This man loves his beer! Notice that he never drops the beer even after he gets plowed
  • That must have stung like a ton of hornets
  • He is lucky he didn’t lose some vision in his eyes as he had no glasses on or anything
  • He might have lost his left nipple
  • Kids, do not try this at home

Note: According to our viewer Zach, the boat operator is Trevor Jennings from RIP King Guide Service. He is based out of Walla Walla, Washington.

Enjoy this awesome video.

What would you say if someone told you that it was possible to combine two of America’s greatest pastimes into one sport?

Well I am here to tell you that it’s now entirely possible.

In fact, I think you could even have a beer while enjoying “Baseball-Fishing”

So what is baseball-fishing?

Well as this trailblazing guy shows us in the video below, it is simply rigging up a baseball (or a softball or tennis ball) to a spinning rod and reel outfit, opening up the spool of the spinning reel, hanging the ball out over home plate (a frisbee will do for home plate), and letting your kids take a whack at hitting a home run with their baseball bat.

All you have to do is reel it in and do it again and watch your kids and neighbors smile.

Note: For older kids, an 80lb mono leader is highly recommended while playing Baseball-Fishing. And for the oversized kids that grow full beards at age 11, a wire leader is recommended. Heehee.

Enjoy this video, and don’t forget to check out all of our “FISHING FUN” videos that we post on Fridays. You can see all of them here.

This came across my desk this week, and I thought it was the perfect post for Father’s Day weekend (especially for guys like me with daughters).

In this video, the Montana Fly Fishing Guide Company put together a pretty funny parody on “Improper Female Fishing Etiquette”.

I won’t ruin it for you, but let’s just a LOT has changed over the past 40 years in terms of women and fishing.

And to be frank, I couldn’t be happier with the changes. With two young daughters myself, I want them to have as much fun (and as many opportunities) as I did growing up fishing as a boy.

Hope you enjoy, and if you think your friends would like this video, please share it with them – I’d really appreciate it

Captain Jeff Maggio (aka Lunkerdog) is at it again… putting priceless smiles on kids faces out on the water.

When we interviewed Capt Jeff back in March (you can watch the interview here), he told us that he was the man for getting people on Tarpon 365 days per year down in the Ft. Lauderdale area. And based on what we have seen from him every week since March, that statement rings true.

If you haven’t seen Captain Jeff’s other videos that made it to our homepage, check them out here after you watch the latest video below:

Welcome to another infamous edition of FFF – “Freshwater Fishing Friday“!

If you missed the last two amazing Freshwater Fishing Friday videos, here they are:

Now back to the Viral Video at hand…

If you don’t know what “Skarping” is, it is a combination of water skiing, while catching flying carp, while playing basketball.

It was “invented” by the Peoria Carp Huntersand this “Skarping video” that they created is one of the most amazing flying carp videos I have ever seen.

If you aren’t familiar with these jumping Asian Carp, they can be found in a few special places in Illinois, and these Asian Carp jump out of the water because of vibration and water turbulence.

P.S. – Make sure to watch this entire video as they don’t just go “Skarping” on water skiis and wakeboards. They get in tubes, and even use a trident to spear the flying carp at one point.

P.P.S. – Big thanks to Meagan Johnson Robinson and Doctor Brian Headrick for sending this skarping video in.

Happy Sunday Funday!

Every Sunday we will be doing our best to put a smile on your face with a “funny” fishing video. Some will be fishing bloopers, some might be kid’s doing or saying funny things out on the water. And some (like this video below), might not even involve an actual fish…

That’s right this week we have a pretty funny fishing prank that involves nothing more than a kid’s fishing rod, a $20 bill, and some unsuspecting people that are about to get punked.

Related: If you never saw Team Googan catch two slot snook from a kid’s spiderman fishing rod, make sure to watch that here next.

P.S. – If you think your friends would find like this funny fishing prank, please share it with them – I’d really appreciate it.

And here I thought yesterday’s news about the Mega Shark fossils found in Texas were exciting, and this video below comes along and spoils the excitement…

Yes, this “sailfish” really is a boat.

And yes, it really jumps in the air like the picture shows.

And yes, this footage was captured while shocking boaters in and around the Miami area.

And yes, I really want to drive one.

Here is the scoop:

A company called “Seabreacher” (visit their site here) makes these “Ultimate Fish Driving Machines“, and not only do they build these custom “fishing boats” in a sailfish model, they also have a shark boat, a dolphin boat, and a killer whale boat.

Note: These “fish boats” come custom with 215hp supercharged engine!

Check out the video below of their new “sailfish” jet boat that is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.

I wish I could have seen the faces of the boaters in Miami as this “sailfish” cruised by.

P.S. – Enjoy and please like and share if you thought these supercharged “Sailfish Boats” were as awesome as we did!

Happy Freshwater Friday!

We have had numerous requests from our freshwater brethren to post some viral freshwater fishing videos including bass, bass boats, and bloopers.

So we went out and found some freshwater videos that fit the description, and this video below is our first ever Freshwater Friday video.

Here is the scoop:

These guys are known as the Mississippi Snake Grabbers (they even have their own show on CMT), and they go out in Mississippi rivers, lakes, and ponds and catch snakes with their hands. And FYI, you can hire them yourselves if you have an itch to grab snakes with your bare hands…

Apparently while out snake hunting, they encountered some engine problems, so they had their buddy Shane go back to see if he could fix it.

I won’t ruin it for you, let’s just say this video has an explosive ending that had me laughing for quite some time.

Famous Last Words, “It’s like Redneck Ether…

Even if this is a rigged video, the Rooster at the end is priceless. Still laughing as I write this.

P.S. – If you think your friends would find this video as funny as I did, please share it with them – I’d really appreciate it

I have to admit, when I saw the video of a guy catching a fish from a Drone, I didn’t think I would even see a “Remote Control” fishing video get any better. (You can watch the Drone catching fish video here next)

But I am pretty sure this Remote Control Boat Fishing video is the most amazing one yet!

Heck, I didn’t even have a category on our blog page for this one, so I had to just put it in “Fishing FUN”.

I won’t ruin what happens for you in the video below, as the end is pretty surprising…

However, I will tell you that this RC boat is fishing in the South Pacific Ocean off of Australia.

And if this really does work, then perhaps we should start using Remote Control boats to catch Lionfish

Enjoy!

P.S. – If you think your angler friends and family would find this video as amazing as we did, please share it with them – I’d really appreciate it. Fish On!
