When I think fishing for sailfish, the last thing I think of is catching them on anything but a rod and reel.

And I certainly didn’t I think I would see someone in Pompano Beach, FL catching a sailfish on a Cuban YoYo!

But Team Googan strikes again!

Yes, this is the same lip gripping, line ripping, bad a$$ angler from south Florida that:

  • Caught the two slot snook from a Spiderman rod (see that video here)
  • Catches a nice snook on the same YOYO from his kayak (see that video here)

So hat’s off to our friend Team Googan down in South Florida for catching a sailfish with a Cuban YoYo!

Simply amazing video man (and well-paired music as well)!

Enjoy and don’t forget to SHARE this with a friend that loves fishing! Pa-POW!

These young guys look they are having the time of their lives.

And who can blame them when they are catching so many monster fish out of canoes.

From what we can tell, these young guys come down to Florida from Wisconsin on spring break every year to do some hard-core fishing out of canoes.

And the two quotes in the beginning pretty much sum up this amazing “Extreme Canoe Fishing” video…

“We’re going to need a bigger boat”

and

“When my parents see this…”

Just wait until you see the all of the large sharks, tarpon (with some awesome slow-mo tarpon shots), barracuda, and jacks that they catch out of their canoes.

Great job of filming, catching, and keeping us entertained guys!

No, this is not the girly-girl screaming like she was getting attacked by a manatee video…

That video was so “un-Strong” that we had a tough time even watching the entire thing, let alone risk putting it on our site.

In this video, it appears as if a man and his kids are in their kayaks, trying to get close to a group of manatees in a small harbour.

What they don’t realize is that they are trying to get close to a mama manatee and her calves, and mother manatees don’t exactly like it when you get too close to their babies…

In fact, that is usually the only time you will see manatees get this aggressive.

Thankfully one couple in their sailboat had the camera rolling, and we all get to see a different side of the manatee.

Not to mention, we all get to learn a lesson…

Don’t get too close to a mother manatee and her calves…you just might get the TAIL!

P.S. – Don’t stop watching after the first manatee attack…it doesn’t end there…the mother manatee comes back for another round!

This amazing sailfish video was sent in to us by Adam “Redfisk” Fisk, one of the members of Team Rebel Fishing.

And in this video, Adam and his buddy Austin Collins both hook up on nice sailfish at the same time (you will see Austin’s sailfish doing some nice jumps from Adam’s GoPro view), and they even both land their sailfish from their kayaks.

Pretty awesome!

I know that I get pumped anytime that my brother Luke and I double on up on fish from our boat (big or small fish).

I can’t even imagine doubling on nice sailfish from kayaks at the same time.

Great video gents.

Keep em’ coming.

If the USA Girl’s Olympic Gymnastic team ever needs some new talent, they should give this manta ray a call…

Kayaker Ray Montoya (and no, the irony on his first name is not lost on us) was out enjoying a day fishing on his sea kayak, when out of the blue this stingray starts popping out of the water doing backflips.

And Ray (the guy, not the manta ray) was lucky enough to have his camera rolling when the manta ray somehow pulled off a 1080 backflip right next to his kayak.

Amazing stuff!

Sadly, Ray gave the ray a 9.5 out of 10 due to the landing… as you can see the ray doesn’t exactly nail the landing…

Either way, color me impressed.

We love seeing people catch big redfish out of kayaks…

So when we came across this awesome video of Kayak Angler Brandon Barton tearing up the redfish from a Hobie Cat Kayak, we couldn’t resist showing you.

And we also began to wonder, did Hobie finally create a kayak that attracts redfish???

Certainly appears that way from the video footage…

Well done Brandon, and well done Hobie Cat Kayaks!
