Tailing, backing, and stalking redfish in super shallow water is pretty tough to beat…

And there is no better time to do it than during the cooler winter months of the redfish “Shallow Season” when many redfish head back in some super skinny water…

As the guy in the video says, “This kind of fishing for redfish is about as close as you can get to hunting without a gun…”

Flyfishing for Reds In The shallows is addictive, and this video shows why. The fish are so shallow the guy has to get out of the boat.

Epic footage and even better camera work.

The MorningTide Fishing dudes are back with another epic land-based fishing adventure!!!

Except this time, they go air-based to get land-based to find new fishing ledges…

You’ll see what I mean when you watch their awesome new video below.

And if you aren’t familiar with the hard-core (and just as hard-core on conserving fish for the next generation) anglers over at MorningTide Fishing, here are a few of our favorite videos by them this year:

Bet they are glad that Jonny was along for this trip (or maybe not after he fooled them about Bull Sharks following them…)

Enjoy.

Now this is how you catch a big tarpon from the beach!

If you aren’t familiar with our friend “Team Googan”, he has made multiple appearances on the Salt Strong video page.

Here are a few of his “Must See” fishing videos:

If you have ever caught a stone crab before, you know to stay away from their vice-like grip like the plague.

The stone crab’s claws can get huge, and once they grab one to something, it can be a battle to get them to release their grip.

And although stone crabs are known to be slower movers compared to some other crabs (probably because they have to carry around claws that weigh more than the rest of their bodies), if a stone crab gets a hold of your finger, you won’t forget the experience.

In fact, a stone crab has enough power to easily break your finger if it gets ahold of it at the right angle.

So when we saw this video of a Texas guy putting his bare hands down in the mud to yank out stone crabs, we thought the guy had no fear (and still do by the way).

And if you are wondering why he only took one claw, it is actually state law that you leave one claw on a stone crab so it can defend itself, kill fish for food, etc as it is not the type of crab that is harvested for its full body.

A few months back we posted a bluefish video that really took off.

And it wasn’t a surprise to me, the video was amazing. The guy had multiple cameras going (one on his head, one on his rod, one underwater, etc) and created a one-of-a-kind surf-fishing video called “When Bluefish Attack” (you can watch it here).

Since then, we really haven’t seen any bluefish videos come across our desk that we think have the ability to be a Viral Fishing Video.

But this bluefish video below does (especially for anyone that likes surf fishing, catching fish from the beach, or just likes catching the hard-fighting bluefish).

This video was filmed by Angry Fish contributor Chris Fabiano, and it takes place somewhere in New Jersey.

And it is clear to see they don’t lack baitfish on this beach… the anglers are literally surrounded by baitfish and probably stepped on a few by accident they are in stacked in there so deep.

Of course the bluefish are taking every possible advantage of this massive beach bait pod, so much so that there is bloodstained water everywhere.

Great job by Chris on getting the slo-mo of the bluefish nailing the topwater lures. Pretty sweet action!

At the very end, you can even see quite a few of the baitfish flopping on the beach as I guess they would rather die on land than getting sliced by a bluefish. Ouch!

The guys over at Morning Tide Fishing are some of the toughest and most respected anglers out there.

In fact, so tough that they are probably the only guys I know that could get away with wearing skinny jeans while fishing and not only get away with it, but still look tough as heck doing it.

Note: this video does not end with the first fish, so make sure to watch the full thing (in fact, the skinny jeans angler even changes pants…)

And if you never saw the first video from these same guys called “Think the Wicked Tuna Guys are Crazy, then Watch this”, click here to watch it after the video below.

Well done Morning Tide Fishing gents.

Another amazing video!

P.S. – I never thought I would be so proud to share a video with “skinny jeans fishing”, but you guys pulled it off with a bang.
