This incredible humpback whale footage was recently captured by Heather MacIntyre, a marine naturalist/photographer working for Maya’s Legacy Charters, on San Juan Island, WA (legacycharters.org).

And apparently this friendly humpback whale is known locally as “Windy”, and seems to love human interaction like this.

It seemed pretty evident that Windy the humpback whale was purposely spraying the boaters, and seemed to be enjoying the interaction just as much as the boaters.

I take that back, no one enjoyed the encounter as much as as Heather (haha).

But I guess we can’t blame her… what an amazing and once in a lifetime experience.

Note from the boaters: One of the humpback whale’s blasts of water was so powerful it knocked one of the cameras off a selfie-stick and into the water!

Enjoy!

Can you imagine being out on your paddleboard and seeing a Killer Whale come right up next to your board?

And can you imagine how shaking your legs would have been if the Killer Whale (orca) tried to take a bite out of your paddle board!

I would have wet my pants!

We can only bet that the Killer Whale was curious about the paddle board, and not biting it for food or to knock the paddle boarder off.

At any rate, freaking amazing video, and great job by Luke Reilly of New Zealand for having the GoPro handy (and for staying up on his board).

Back when I was in high school, I used to love heading out on the lake in my canoe with two fishing rods and a small cooler to catch largemouth bass (not to be confused with hammerhead sharks).

So when I saw the title of this video come across my desk, I was pretty darn curious.

And when I saw that this video was from the same young dudes that made it on our home page with the “We’ve Got To Get A Bigger Boat” video (see that video here), I was pretty stoked to see what kind of trouble they got into this time.

The title says it all…

These young guys head out in canoes, hook a huge hammerhead shark, and spend the rest of the afternoon being pulled around like feathers before finally landing it.

Pretty awesome stuff guys!

P.S. – Don’t forget to share with someone that loves fishing. You Rock!

The guys over at Morning Tide Fishing are some of the toughest and most respected anglers out there.

In fact, so tough that they are probably the only guys I know that could get away with wearing skinny jeans while fishing and not only get away with it, but still look tough as heck doing it.

Note: this video does not end with the first fish, so make sure to watch the full thing (in fact, the skinny jeans angler even changes pants…)

And if you never saw the first video from these same guys called “Think the Wicked Tuna Guys are Crazy, then Watch this”, click here to watch it after the video below.

Well done Morning Tide Fishing gents.

Another amazing video!

P.S. – I never thought I would be so proud to share a video with “skinny jeans fishing”, but you guys pulled it off with a bang.

Can you imagine being out fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and seeing a huge, docile, whale shark come right up next to your boat?

What would you do?

Would you jump in and swim with the huge whale shark?

Would you ride on its back like this teenager did?

Or would you simply take a picture and move on?

I personally think it would be hard to not want to dive in and swim with it, as you don’t get that many chances to experience swimming with a wild whale shark.

Heck, people in Atlanta pay big money just to swim with the whale sharks at the Georgia Aquarium.

Either way, it’s easy to make judgement while sitting in the driver’s seat, but after watching this, the best advice we can give you is to never ride on the back of any whale shark, manatee, or other marine mammal out in the wild.

Enjoy!

Reeling in a massive Goliath Grouper can be like trying to lift up a freight car from the bottom of the ocean… especially in the first few seconds.

In this video, Alex Stevens of Berserker Rods joins BlacktipH (Josh Jorgensen) and Kanalgratisdotse (the guy on the camera) on a goliath grouper fishing trip where Alex will attempt to catch a Goliath using his custom rod and stand-up harness.

Can it be done?

We’ll let the video tell the rest of the story.

Enjoy! And please SHARE after you watch it.

POW!

Goliath Grouper are very smart fish… So much so that they might even be able to partially read sign language…

Yep.

And as this diver found out the hard way, when you use aggressive sign language in front of a Goliath Grouper, they do what they were built to do… Act aggressive.

So aggressive that this Goliath Grouper bites the diver!

Fortunately, this diver had a thick wetsuit on and doesn’t appear to be seriously injured. He did try to get a few instinctive punches off on the Grouper as it moved on to find someone else to mess with.

Enjoy.

Josh Jorgensen from BlacktipH knows how to catch sharks better than most people in the world. So when we heard that he uploaded a new video that revealed his biggest bull shark ever, we knew that we were going to like it.

And as always, BlacktipH delivers an amazing video with top-notch quality, good story line, and one heck of a HUGE Bull Shark.

Question for you: Have you ever caught a 600-pound shark?

Let us know your biggest shark in the comment area.

Great job BlacktipH!

Wait until you see the size of this sawfish that angler Brian Boxx and his buddy hooked into somewhere down in Southwest Florida. Apparently they have reported this to the FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission), and they are roughly estimated this sawfish at 600 pounds!!!

Did you know that these endangered sawfish can get up to 700lbs and reach lengths of 25 feet long! At that size, their sharp “saw-bills” can do some serious damage.

As Brian and his buddy realize what they have hooked into, they also come to find out that the huge sawfish has some sort of line wrapped all around it’s sharp saw. From the video, it appeared to be some sort of anchor line or buoy line mixed in with some fishing line. At either rate, this sawfish would not have lived a normal life span without some serious help.

Fortunately for this sawfish, Brian is an ex-military warrior that never leaves a man (or fish) behind, as he risks losing his hands to free this sawfish from the thick line that was wrapped all around his saw-snout.

I was holding my breath every time Brian’s hand was close to the saw and the massive sawfish thrashed his head. Fortunately for Brian, it never thrashed back towards his hands.

Towards the end, you can even see that Brian had a slight cut on his hand.

A hero in our eyes for sure. Not many anglers would have been willing to risk their own hands and limbs to save a huge sawfish like this, and for that we thank you Brian.
