Normally, we are posting videos about great white sharks eating other prey…

But in this video, a 9ft great white shark is mysteriously eaten by some unknown sea creature.

This “Epic Wildlife” documentary gives its take on what they think could have done it based on the facts from the shark’s tag and satellite images, but in the end, we will never know.

Any ideas on what you think killed the shark? Comment below.

On the northwest coast of Australia there exists an elite team of spearfishing enthusiasts called the “YoungBloods”.

From the looks of it, the YoungBloods seem to be pretty cool Aussies…

The YoungBloods and their friends at Shock Mansion took some mind-blowing underwater footage, including tons of amazing shots with their spearguns, hanging out with sharks, riding around with whale sharks, and plucking monster lobster out of the rocks.

They even let their girlfriends go out and get some footage with the whale shark…

The only thing that could have made this video better would have been for me to join them for beers and BBQ at the end of this video.

Epic job YoungBloods and Shock Mansion.

We will certainly say that you fit the criteria of “Salt Strong“.

We have been big fans of Rich Tudor and Tom Rowland, the two captains behind the saltwater force known as “Saltwater Experience” for quite some time.

These guys know how to catch fish, and they are always entertaining to watch.

In this episode of Saltwater Experience, Rich and Tom go after a massive hammerhead shark that had been attacking their tarpon in the Florida Keys.

After chumming up the waters around a popular bridge (Long Key Bridge) to catch tarpon, they finally spot a hammerhead…

And then another one…

As Tom is fighting a huge hammerhead, a couple other hammerhead sharks show up for a barracuda that Rich is holding out there.

The current is ripping through the bridge, and somehow they make it through the bridge with a 13 ft hammerhead and a unscratched Yellowfin boat

Then in part 2 of this video, Rich hooks into another huge hammerhead shark

Well done gents.

I remember the first time I saw the movie Jaws.

I was actually on a large sport fishing boat down in the Bahamas…

And I was scared to death when I finally had to make the small leap from the boat to the dock (I wasn’t even 10 years old yet).

So when I watched this video of a great white shark attacking an inflatable boat, I couldn’t help but get flashbacks of Jaws…

Not to mention I was incredibly glad that I wasn’t on that inflatable boat.

Hopefully they weren’t too far from their parent vessel.

But since we are watching the video, we can assume they made it back safely.

Holy cow this Mako Shark can jump!

I first saw the longer, unedited (there were a few too many F-bombs dropped to post it on Salt Strong) version of this video and it was too good to not post for you.

I will give you the backstory from the longer video real quick.

Long story short is these guys are out on a boat and have about a 10ft Mako Shark that keeps circling their boat.

They continue to cast their heavy duty fly rod out in front of the Mako and finally…

BOOM!

The Mako hits the fly, the line goes screaming out, and the Mako Shark goes airborne.

If you weren’t aware, all Mako Sharks do similar acrobatic displays when they are hooked up.

Wild stuff!

As if spearfishing monster Wahoo isn’t cool enough, try doing it with swarms of sharks.

And before you start watching the first 45 seconds wondering where the sharks are, just wait…

At one point, it looked like every shark in the area showed up to see if they could get a free meal.

Watch these guys defend their catch amongst swarming sharks. Definitely some close encounters. These guys are studs and so are the huge Wahoo they are spearing.

This video fishing montage was sent in by Justin at Southern Fishing Addiction.

A young dude that knows how to hook up with fish, not to mention, how to put together a fun and engaging fishing montage.

At first glance, we thought it was going to be all bass fishing, and since our site is called “Salt Strong”, we can really only have salt water videos featured on here (even though we do love bass fishing).

But after just a couple of minutes of watching his video, we saw Justin showing off his ability to beach fish for trout, sharks, and a monster stingray.

And we still love seeing a nice bass hit a bait, as that is how Luke and I got started in fishing ourselves way back in the day.

Thanks for the video submission Justin!
