If you are an inshore angler in Florida, the ultimate catch is a Florida Inshore SUPER Grand Slam, which consists of catching a Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook, and Redfish.

And there is no place like Florida to do this.

So when we came across this awesome video (with one disturbing clip) from World Angling, we couldn’t help but share.

And yes, there are even some great inshore fishing bloopers in this reel as well.

Warning: If you get nauseous seeing someone crack their head on a boat, you might want to close your eyes about halfway through this video during the blooper reel…OUCH!

But the rest of this video is pretty amazing stuff!

Great job on this Florida Inshore Super Grand Slam!

It’s rare that we ever post our own videos on this main Salt Strong page (in fact, I believe this is the first video we have ever posted on this main video board), but we had such a great day back in the Florida grass flats yesterday that we couldn’t help but show you.

This was a “Skinny Water Inshore Slam” (Snook, Redfish, and Trout) all on artificial lures…and all of this footage and fishing action was caught over a 3 hour period yesterday.

Pretty good considering when we finally hit the water for the day (at 3:30pm) we had on rain gear as it looked like it was going to storm again.

But the sun peaked its head, and we tour it up in less than 2 feet of water catching a big 31-inch redfish, tons of smaller reds, a handful of snook, and even a couple of trout.

And Andrew, the Salt Strong promoter and marketing manager, caught the biggest fish of his life.

It’s a scientific fact: No one gets more excited to catch a fish than our friend Darcizzle from Darcizzle Offshore.

If you watch any of her great videos, she gets so amped up every single time she hooks up with fish.

It is what makes the Darcizzle fishing videos contagious to watch, and there is rarely a dull moment.

And really, isn’t that what fishing is all about!

Snook Fishing with Darcizzle

In this Darcizzle video, she goes a step further by not only catching snook, but revealing exactly what rod, reel, line, and other tackle she used to catch these snook near Stuart, Florida (make sure to watch the entire video to get all of her fishing tips and favorite gear).

The guide out with her in this video is Chris Beachwalker (if that is his real name, then clearly he was born to be on the beach fishing…)

Make sure to check out Darcizzle’s YouTube page “Darcizzle Offshore” by clicking here. She has tons of great content!

A couple of weeks ago we posted a video of a dolphin capturing a snook under a bridge that went VIRAL

The post was called “Dolphin Captures Big Snook on Film” (Click Here to see it).

Well besides having over 17,000 Facebook shares, we also had a ton of comments.

And the comments came from all over the place…our blog, the Salt Strong Facebook page, etc.

And two of the most common comments were along these lines…

  1. “Shame on the people for scaring the snook out of the pilings for a free meal for the dolphin”
  2. “They just released the snook (after catching it) which made it an unfair fight”

Well we wanted to clear the air to show the what happened BEFORE the dolphin captures big snook footage that you saw in the prior video.

As you’ll see, the unlucky snook in the video was not caught by the group who filmed the video… It was a just a normal snook caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

P.S. – Don’t forget to share this video with your friends so everyone knows what really happened here.

There is nothing better than landing a large snook for an avid inshore angler.

And I have to imagine (as I (Joe) am yet to break through the 30+ pound snook mark) that catching a 30lb snook is pretty darn epic.

We aren’t sure of the anglers name, but this was caught with Captain George Gozdz of Flatlined Charters near Stuart, Florida.

Well done gents…huge snook!

Don’t forget to check out the awesome video “Here’s what a 30LB snook caught by a Girl looks like here.

Which snook looks bigger to you?

The guys or the girls?

Holy Snook Attack!

I used to think snook were pretty doggone fast…

Anytime that I would be out on the boat with my brother Luke and we would spook a snook, I was always impressed with how quickly they can dart off.

But then I saw this video…

And it is clear the snook is not match for the lightning-fast dolphin.

Pretty cool footage of how dolphins feed on the same fish that we like to catch as well.

If only that dolphin knew how good a snook tasted on the grill…

In this episode of Addictive Fishing, Captain Blair Wiggins and Captain Greg Snyder tear up the snook and trout while wading near Stuart, Florida (Jensen Beach).

This wading for monster snook and trout video is kind of long, but well worth the watch as not only do you get to see a crap-load of fish, but the tow guides give away some great tips about wading on the flats.

If you want to learn how to catch snook and trout without a boat (aka wading), then this is the video that you need to watch this video.
