ABOUT Jake Kehlenbeck
I grew up in Tampa and spent a lot of time fishing and camping at Fort De Soto with my family.
Unfortunately, we were catfish specialists, but it was still always a good time.
After high school, I went to Florida State where I met my wonderful wife.
I started working for a fishing guide where I finally learned how to catch redfish and trout.
After we graduated, we moved back to the Tampa Bay area and a few years later I finally got the opportunity to do what I love with Salt Strong: write about fishing.
We currently live in St. Petersburg with our spoiled golden retriever, Oliver.
