The notorious “Honey Badger” and the “Lionfish Killer” have a few things in common…

  1. They don’t care!
  2. They are crazy
  3. They are both bada$$

By the way, if you never saw the “Honey Badger” video, check out one of the most viral videos to ever hit YouTube below.

Now back to our friend the Alex Fogg, the one and only “Lionfish Killer”.

If you haven’t seen Alex on our site before, here are two of his most shared videos:

  • “The Ultimate Lionfish Killer Video” (watch it here)
  • “The Lionfish Killer Fights A Goliath Grouper Over An AJ!” (watch it here)

And in this Double Feature Presentation below (you can see the video from both Alex’s and Mark’s perspectives), Alex Fogg and Mark Miller find a shrimp boat off of Mississippi that has dozens of 5-7 foot Blacktip and Spinner Sharks feeding off of the shrimp boat’s “bycatch”.

It is nothing short of a crazy shark feeding frenzy!

Of course, most people that came across something like this would simply stick their GoPro in the water ( most likely attached to a long GoPro pole so they don’t have to put their hand in the water) and get some footage.

But The Lionfish Killer, He Don’t Care!

He and Mark jump in, get some wild shark feeding frenzy footage, and The Lionfish Killer even has to push a shark away near the 3:24 mark in this first video!

Make sure to watch til the end as The Lionfish Killer even pulls up a Massive Amberjack toward the end (you can see him spear the Amberjack in the second video below)

This guy really is bada$$!

Note: No Sharks were harmed in any way in this video

And don’t forget to see Alex’s view from his GoPro below.

Towards the end of the second video below, you get to see Alex plucking off Lionfish and shooting his monster Amberjack.

Awesome job gents!

I had to watch this video a couple of times just to grasp how many different types of fish species made an appearance. At last count, I am over 27 different fish species, and I am certain there are many more…

This video is from the crew over at Terra Australis, the same guys that brought us the video, “Diver Feeds Seal and Stingray Kisses Him For It!” (you can watch that video here next).

And in this “Freediving Compilation” video, they brought together a bunch of their very best clips all into one.

Everything from Goliath Grouper, Great White encounters, Tuna, Whales, reef fish, you name it, they are in this video.

Also, if you are wondering what happened to the diver that had to get his mask ripped off in the middle of this video, he suffered what is called a “Freediving Blackout” where he literally blacked out while down about 90 feet. Thankfully his mates were there to pull him up and help him get his senses back. Wow!

Great job on this video Terra Australis!

It seems almost unbelievable, but this is an entirely different Tiger Shark encounter than the video we posted a month ago called “Tiger Shark Steals Camera, Shakes Off Diver, And Then Continues Filming” (watch it here).

And this is some pretty wild footage!

I won’t ruin it for you, but let’s just say you get a “Dentist” view of this big Tiger Shark’s mouth around the 3:30 mark.

And apparently the shark didn’t like the taste of film, as he quickly spits the camera out. Haha.

This great shark footage filmed By Stuart Cove and his team from Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas and documented with still photography by world-renowned underwater still photographer Stephen Frink.

Unless you have been sleeping under a rock (or coral reef), you have probably heard about the wild amount of shark attacks on the beaches of North Carolina (read about it on CNN here).

Well this couple in the video below didn’t want any part of a shark bite…

And apparently this couple is either starting a new company called “North Carolina Shark Cages” or they are just trying to make a statement… but either way, their homemade shark cage made the news.

Watch what happens when this couple starts to wade out with their shark cages in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Classic tourist move!

Big thanks to Nic Turner of Hawaii for sending this video in.

Fact: Pro surfer Mick Fanning is one lucky dude to walk away from a Great White Shark attack pretty much unscathed

Fact: Pro surfer Mick Fanning is SALT STRONG.

Check out this wild video footage from a professional surfing competition that just happened this weekend.

Definitely a miracle that he escaped this shark attack the way he did!

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could piggy-back on a hammerhead shark and see the ocean through the shark’s eyes?

Well thanks to Andy Casagrande that slapped on a GoPro harness to a hammerhead shark’s dorsal fin, we now have the first ever 4K footage from a hammerhead’s point of view.

This footage is so cool when it goes up on its side near the ocean floor!

Amazing job guys, and even more of an amazing job getting the camera back!

Big thanks to Rich Lazarra from “Ocean of News” for sending this gem over!

If you have ever caught a 7ft+ shark before, you know how much of a fight it can put up… especially on the beach at night when the shark can leverage sandbars and currents to its advantage.

Well this college girl was up for the task of catching a big shark one recent evening as she, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend’s buddy went out to see if they could get this gal Brook on a big shark at night.

I won’t ruin the ending for you, but let’s just say college student Brook Crist of the Landshark Crew was probably feeling some pain in her arms the next day…

Well done Landshark Fishing Crew!

And good to hear someone giving tips on a safe release in their videos.

Nothing like the adrenaline rush of fighting a nice shark while on a paddleboard!

And our friend Peter Miller (host of Bass 2 Billfish) shows you exactly how it’s done (without falling over).

You can see a couple of times the shark makes a cut back at Peter and his SUP, forcing Peter to adjust and rebalance so he doesn’t end up wet (and on top of the shark).

The water color is amazing down there in the Florida Keys, and great job of handling the shark on your SUP like a champ!

This is what you would call a Great White Shark that is “Big Boned“!

And yes, this is REAL!

Holy smokes, right.

The coolest part about this video is the diver gives this massive shark a “High-5” at about the 5-second mark.

Oh and did I mention the guy outside of the cage is CRAZY!

Here is the scoop this “Largest Great White Shark Ever“.

The monster shark, thought to be around 50 years old, measures 20 feet long and boasts the girth of a hippo.

The massive predator, nicknamed Deep Blue, was spotted in the waters near Mexico’s Guadalupe Island.

The shark, who is estimated to be around 50 years old, is believed to be one of the largest great white sharks ever seen.

She was featured last year in a Discovery network documentary after local researcher Mauricio Hoyos Padilla managed to tag her.

But Hoyos has posted new footage of Deep Blue that shows her come nail-bitingly close to a cage diver.

Hoyos posted the video on Facebook, under the title, “I give you the biggest white shark ever seen in front of the cages in Guadalupe Island… DEEP BLUE!!!”

The unbelievable footage shows the mammoth shark swimming around the cage, seemingly ignoring the divers in a roof-less steel cage.

One brave diver decides to swim out of the cage and reaches out to touch and high-5 the shark.

Another Shark Week masterpiece!
