Now that it's getting warmer, tarpon are making their way up the coast for their annual migration making for some fun fishing opportunities. And some BIG snook can be caught a short distance from the tarpon making for some fun action as seen in this video.

I revisited and area on Mosquito Lagoon near Apollo Beach in search of some reds and trout. Despite the slow conditions, I was able to find a few reds and a solid 27" trout that I was able to sight cast less than 10ft from me. Check out the full report!

Fishing was tough this week due to a large area of low pressure sitting on top of us dropping a bunch of rain. There were very small windows of opportunity to wet a line so I took advantage of one.
