Yeah, guys – ditto for me. What gives? Still no post as of 11/21/25?
I completely dropped the ball on this one… will knock it out in our next filming shoot.
In the meantime, here are the key points:
1) This rod is very good at holding up to saltwater exposure, so just a simple rinse off with fresh water after use is all that’s needed.
2) The most important thing to do for rod care is to watch the video above that shows the top 10 rod killing mistakes… if those mistakes are avoided, the rod will last a very long time.
3) Finally, it’s best to store rods indoors in temperature-controlled environments… the worst place to store is in a garage, shed, back porch, etc that is near a saltwater environment.
Ok, that post was Feb 21. Today is July 3rd. I bought 2 sets, a rather expensive expense. Info coming anytime soon ?
