Hi Luke. I just posted a question after watching the 95/5 video for summer/warm water regarding approach and positioning. I watched this video right after and it’s very helpful. I struggle when wind and current running same direction and find myself fighting the conditions in this case. This does a good job of covering g it. I fish the Barron River in Everglades City mostly and the current gets sick, making it a challenge. I’ll try these techniques and find some slower moving water . Thanks Luke!

I’ve been anchoring my SUP from the back and noticed I get out of good casting position. This helped me to consider doing it off the front or side so I can cast forward and retrieve with current.

Great discussion Luke. It appears adaptation of situation is most critical.
As they say in the Corps. adapt and improvise

Luke, great lessons on positioning. Curious why you said it gets more difficult in the marshes when you move up into the creeks. Is that just because you’re limited to the direction you have to cast? When are the fish most likely to move deeper into the creek mouths? Thanks!
