A few weeks ago, I participated in one of my first inshore fishing tournaments.
I was fortunate enough to place and show that Salt Strong’s teaching philosophy can also be applied to tournament fishing.

Conclusion
Tournament fishing can be challenging but also thrilling and fulfilling!
In spite of some nasty storms, I was still able to place and go home with some prizes.
Remember to practice proper safety and take extra precautions if storms are rolling into your area.

I found mine through local Facebook groups and fishing clubs.
Once you find one, they will all find you. It’s weird how it happens. Lol
Are kayaks with trolling motors allowed?
They weren’t for this tournament, but they are for some.
