About the position:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our Salt Strong team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to members of our exclusive membership club, handling eCommerce transactions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and experience in eCommerce and membership services.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Support: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to club members via phone, email, and chat, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to membership and eCommerce transactions.

  • Order Processing: Assist members with placing orders, tracking shipments, and managing returns and exchanges.
  • Account Management: Help members manage their accounts, including updating personal information, renewing memberships, and accessing exclusive benefits.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the products and services offered to provide accurate information and recommendations to members.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate departments when necessary, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and document member feedback to help improve products, services, and the overall member experience.
  • Promotions and Offers: Inform members about special promotions, discounts, and new product launches.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and update member information in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure a cohesive and efficient service experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a clear and friendly tone.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Patience and Empathy: Ability to stay calm and understanding in stressful situations.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple inquiries or tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using customer service software, CRM systems(HubSpot), and Gmail, Google docs, etc… (or similar programs).
  • Teamwork: Able to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility in adjusting to changing products, processes, or customer needs.

Work Environment:

  • Location: Primarily remote, with occasional travel to the office (Central Florida) for training, meetings, or other in-person requirements.
  • ScheduleFull time: Monday thru Friday 8am- 5pm.
  • Technology: Must have reliable internet, a quiet workspace, all necessary equipment will be provided to perform remote duties effectively.
  • Pay range $18 – $ 24 DOE

Start Date:

We are looking for someone to begin as soon as possible, but we are flexible with the start date for the right candidate. *Only candidates who reside in Central Florida (Tampa, Lakeland, Orlando) area will be considered.
