If you love aviator sunglasses and you love saving money, then this independent review is for you!
I grew up with two grandfathers that both served in the military (one was a fighter pilot and one worked on an aircraft carrier), and both of them were known to sport their aviator sunglasses.
So as you can imagine, I too, wanted to be just like my grandfathers and sport aviators…
Growing up, I went through numerous pairs of “cheap aviator sunglasses” bought in places such as 7-11 and Circle K while I was in high school and college.
And a few years after I finally landed a job and had some income/savings, I finally splurged and bought a $299 pair of Maui Jim Polarized Aviators that I still have to this day.
The only bad news about my Maui Jims is that I hate to take them on the boat fishing… they are just too expensive, and I refuse to put croakies on these aviators (call me stubborn, but I just don’t like croakies on nice aviators).
So I had always been on the lookout for some “less expensive” (but not cheap) aviators that looked good, felt good, and had polarized lenses (that was a must have that has been tough to find in the affordable aviator section).
Well, a few weeks ago a company called LotFancy reached out to me about testing out their new polarized aviator sunglasses.
And the best part…
They are only $20 a pair!
Honestly, I was a bit skeptical because I had never heard of LotFancy before (I came to find out that LotFancy Limited has been around since 1999 selling all kinds of things), and I have tried way too many $20 pair of sunglasses to know that some of them are made “cheaper” than others…
But I was willing to give it a shot.
Below you will see the pros and cons of these $20 LotFancy men’s polarizes aviator sunglasses along with the video review.
Enjoy.

Pros Of LotFancy Polarized Aviators
- First and foremost, the price! At $20 on Amazon, you won’t be crying on the way back to the boat ramp if these accidently fall in the water… (Note: the retail price on Amazon is $60, but they sell them at $20 direct to consumer through Amazon)
- They look good
- The nosepiece is adjustable which is nice for thin-bridged noses like mine
- They are lightweight
- They fit my head well and would not slip off even while bending over
- The sunglasses storage case they come in is super durable
- The polarized lenses actually look pretty good as I used them for a day on the flats
- They come in brown and gray (aka Gold and Gun Metal)
Cons Of LotFancy Polarized Aviators
- As of this review, LotFancy only makes POLARIZED lenses for their men’s aviator sunglasses. They do have a women’s line along with another frame, but personally, I won’t buy any pair of sunglasses unless they are polarized
- The frame is made of metal, so it certainly won’t last as long as my Maui’s around saltwater (my Maui Jim aviators are made out of pure titanium and have anti-corrosive hinges)
- No frills with the packaging like a cleaning cloth, etc, but then again these are meant to be affordable

Conclusion
Overall, I am pretty impressed with these LotFancy polarized aviator sunglasses.
They don’t feel cheap (although the metal frames certainly aren’t the same as the titanium frames I own in a different pair of aviators), they look good, and they shocked me with how well the polarized lens looked in the water.
I have been wearing them while driving for two weeks, I have used them fishing once, and so far I am impressed for a $20 pair of sunglasses.
Certainly beats the aviators that I have purchased in convenience stores throughout the years…

I would like to see if possible how $50- $100 fishing glasses stand up to $200-$300 glasses on the water. the prices on fishing glasses seem to high.A good comparison would be extremely useful.
