Great video, Lotta info. The only thing I have used under a popping cork is live shrimp or live fish like mullet. Hanging an artificial under one sounds interesting especially with prawn lure.

I like to use the 2” Vudu Shrimp by Egrett baits Ususlly use about a 24” leader with a Fairhope Rattle cork. Good combination for me.

Great video Pat, Thanks! I’ve used a popping cork for Trout but I’d like to try it for Redfish. Is it best to use it on the flats (FL area) when the Redfish have moved off the Mangrove line? Is it possible to use it up by the Mangroves with high water?

Great information Pat. One question, which may be obvious. What length of leader should be used between the popping cork and the jig head? Is this dependent on the depth you are fishing?
