You’re now a smarter angler, with the tool to help you reach your inshore saltwater fishing goals of catching more redfish, snook, trout or flounder. Let’s get started!
First Things First: Click Here to customize Your Password so that you can easily log into both platforms of Smart Fishing Spots App (app & web)

1. Access the Web Version
Jump right into Smart Fishing Spots HERE and unlock the power to find the best inshore saltwater fishing spots on every trip!
2. Access the App Version
Important: You need to customize (create) your password to get into the App version of Smart Fishing Spots (see above).
Once you’ve set your password, you will be able to “Sign In” to the Smart Fishing Spots App
- Download it on the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android)
- Use your login credentials to get access
- Start finding smarter fishing spots near you!

Also, the oyster bed filter does not reveal any oyster beds in all of VA Chesapeake bay waters. odd, considering that VA Chesapeake bay is nationally and locally known for their oysters. the filter works great for the Maryland upper bay. Just nothing for VA.
maybe I can get a few GPS coordinates and post them to share.
I’ve asked our IT team to see the status on getting more oyster bars showing in the VA waters.
Hi, How do I add a boat launch to smart spots? There is a boat launch at the end of Golf Ln. Burgess, VA with a $5 honor code donation system. It doesn’t come up on Boat Launch search with smart spots. Could be useful information for quicker access to the Great Wicomico River. Thanks.

After learning how to share waypoints.. I now understand how to set waypoints and share with insiders. I add the boat launch.
