Fishing Report: Naples, Marco Island, Chokoloskee, Everglades (Video Podcast)

Our friend (and fellow Insider member) Capt. Justin Napior is back!

And this time it’s a special appearance on the Fish Strong podcast.

Here’s the story:

We’ve had a lot of new Insider fishing club members from the Naples, Marco Island, 10,000 Islands joining the club, and many have been asking for us to go down there for some fishing reports.

And we agreed!

It doesn’t take much for us to need an excuse to head down south to go fishing…

After talking to Justin about doing an upcoming trip (probably in April), he was giving us some updates on the fishing right now (it’s been on fire – even with all the cold weather and wind).

So we asked him to jump on a podcast with us and talk about what’s working now (February and March) in Southwest Florida.

Here’s what he had to say.

Conclusion

Just because it’s a bit colder than we’d like it doesn’t mean the fish stop feeding.

It’s all a matter of finding them (and then matching up your lure or live bait to what they are feeding on).

Hope you can get down there and do some fishing over the next couple of months.

Stay tuned for some footage of us down there later this year.

And make sure to follow Capt. Justin Napior on Instagram here.

Fish On!

I loved this podcast! We are going to Everglades City February 17-24 and you really helped with planning. Are those near shore wrecks public numbers?

Great podcast guys! Loved all the tips and locations for launching a kayak. Have yet to catch a tarpon and looking forward to fishing that area one day. Thanks Justin, Luke and Joe!
