Online fights, belittling, and outright hatred…
My mind has been on all of the comments (and people) that I had to delete from our Facebook fishing group this past week…
It was like everyone woke up this past week with a grudge… with anger… with rage…
Lashing out at anyone and everyone who would listen…
Saying things so vulgar that they can’t be repeated…
That’s when it hit me just how negative our world has become…
As a country, we are more divided than ever.
We discriminate more than ever before.
Racism, sexism, and classism seem to be worse, not better.
We even hate on our kind… inside of our own communities.
What happened?
Honestly, I’m not quite sure.
And I’m not sure if this is an act of God or a plot by Satan… none of us know that…
But what I do know is that it’s time for a wake-up call.
Friends, it’s time to UNITE.

I think you were spot on Joe. For me personally it shows how fleeting everything can be in life, your job, your 401(k), Health and family. The pandemic has shown how fleeting everything can be in life and who do you turn to when it is all taken away from you?I believe this virus should be a pause for all of us on self reflection and see what we have individually idolized before God. So very well said. I wish we would all just respect and care for others instead of bashing and hating each other. We need people now then ever to come together and unite. We are all in this together and need to work together to make this world a better place.
