Love to listen and watch. I learn something everytime. I can’t walk into Academy or Walmart and look in the fishing section and think the Simmonds Brothers wouldn’t approve of this or that lol! Definitely catching more fish! Keep your path and your faith. It makes a difference to us out here! Thank you guys

Hello

First off, thank you. I thoroughly enjoy your podcast. You provide an amazing amount of information for fishing in Florida and the gulf.

However, I live in Southern California.

Sadly, there is not a comparable wealth of knowledge for surf-fishing here in SoCal.

I would love if you had an episode or two focussed on our area.

If you wanted an local expert, you could reach out to a blogger name Nick Heid

I still get ideas from your podcasts, but I would love some SoCal specific info

Don’t doubt yourselves – what you’re doing is great. The variety is good. I like hearing your team on a topic and their personal opinions and experience. Guests are also great – including the teams makes the conversation even better. Only improvement i can suggest – do a trip to Australia, open a Saltstrong chapter (count me in) and do a series of topics on Aus fishing and why we fish finesse compared to US and with interviews from local influencers!

Joe & Luke,

First off, I think you already provide a great mix of content. I really enjoy the content, “vibe,” and message of the SaltStrong brand

I really enjoy the product highlights and specific techniques, rigging tips, and “spot selection” articles. I have truly learned a ton and continuously reference old content to to avoid developing bad habits.

In the future, I would love to see some branching out to patch reef fishing (Keys specifics?) and kit/gear available in at FishStrong to target some of the larger snapper and such.

You guys are great – keep knocking it out of the park!

I would like to see more stuff about why or why not to use loopknot/snug knots on lures, and it would be cool to see a podcast dedicated to talking about throwing flairhawk jigs for snook.

Joe— I just LOVED your podcast where you interviewed Bearded Brad. I am a fairly new angler—VERY new to saltwater fishing, and enjoyed hearing about Brad’s journey into saltwater fishing. I’m currently watching his videos, beginning with the very first one!
I really want to develop in my knowledge in saltwater fishing and I especially enjoy how others have been where I am and how they got better!
Thank you!

few more: love the conservation episodes, & agree w below on getting anglers involved, also like the iCast shows, & miss the inner circle Q&A. Maybe something like the old Car Talk radio show?

Joe, I really enjoy when you interview fishing guides to talk about a specific species and get details on how they target that species throughout the year. For example when you interviewed Capt. Jot Owens at the 2019 iCast show… I thought it was excellent information.

Another interesting format would be interviewing (3) guides/captains from (3) areas talking about a single subject. For example “Spring tactics for Kingfish” and listen how their tactics are similar but also different.

I would like to hear lots more about surf fishing. Not a lot is geared toward that. There are some excellent surf fisherman that could give seminars and helpful information. I agree with Alfredo, not all have access to remote areas to fish and must do it from land. Even some info on pier fishing would be great! Hope alls well for all in Florida and other states after the hurricane.

I also agree, more surf and shore fishing especially by anglers that keep it simple with gear and tactics that most of us average folks can do. Lures rather than live or dead bait is my interest.

Hi Joe, I think it would be interesting ever once in awhile to interview members, hear their fishing stories, how did they get in to fish, their favorite fish to catch, how did they find SaltStrong. Maybe even to the interview on the water. It will be to get input from insiders cause we love this club and so do I. #SaltStrongNation 💪

Awesome suggestion, I always like when members are part of a video, not just coaches. Better perspective on real world recreational fishermen.
