We’ve been filming fishing content for 10+ years…
And some of the most memorable fishing moments often happen when unplanned opportunities arise, such as this snook catch from a 3rd-floor balcony shown below.

So I wanted to share this fun balcony catch video in case you haven’t seen it yet.

Balcony Snook Catch
The casting technique shown in the balcony snook catch is called the “Dart Cast”. A detailed video showing how it works is in the Intermediate section of the Fishing School.

Another crucial type of cast that will help maximize catch results whenever you’re fishing spots with overhangs like docks or trees is the skip cast.

I was blown away the first time I saw the abbreviated version of the video but I thought- OK – lucky cast. Still phenomenal but a once in a lifetime time thing. But!! – now watching this expanded version and seeing that you did it TWICE!. You are definitely the Michael Jordon (or Caitlin Clark) of casting! A statue in the fishing hall of fame?
