Awful Weather, STILL Found Trout (Here’s How)!

Cold, wet, and flat-out miserable—but that didn’t stop me from getting on the water!

On this trip, I faced rain, wind, and chilly temps, but I knew there were trout holding somewhere. The key? Check out the video below to see!

Recommended Gear:

➡ Slam Stick Medium

➡ Slam Stick Medium Light

➡ Prawn JR

➡ Rigged on a 2/0 Hoss Football Jighead 1/4 oz

I’ll break down exactly how I found the spot, what lure I used, and why adjusting your approach in bad conditions can still put fish in the boat.

Tight lines,
Tony

I love the Prawn Shrimp and a Skyline Jigs ball head with no collar jig head for fishing drop offs to bounce the sand flats. I hope this can be of help. https://www.skylinejigs.com/product/skyline-no-collar-round-head-jig-head/

Well if anybody can find fish in any conditions it’s you Tony and although I am from a very cold state mich originally my blood has drastically thinned out since being in florida going on 30 years this coming Sept I used to laugh at you southerners when I first got here in Florida making fun of alot of people wearing kapok jackets in a little under 60 degree weather well I still think that’s a little extreme I do dress alot warmer now then I first did but on the note of fishing in nasty weather I don’t mind pouring rain or a little wind In the warmer months but when it’s cold I just wait for better weather you just obviously love to fish and while I do so much as well if I’m out in miserable conditions I make sure I have something to show for my efforts and keep my limit because risking catching pneumonia and then just going home afterwards is definatly not my thing fish are just to darn good to eat and it saves money on grocery’s to but like I said that’s my thing but no matter what the conditions are at present I can’t fish even if wanting to until my beautiful sweet fishing machine is fixed and unfortunatly that won’t be until the end of March according to my repair guy about 14,000 it’s going to cost me but I would give up my right arm before I would give up my boat thanks for the info and as usual all you do😉👍
