I cannot get the 3d image of the bottom structure to show up on my Apple laptop.Is there a specific procedure to get that to show up ?
Hey William!
Two things:
1) you need to be pretty zoomed in to use it (so you must be in satellite view mode)
2) the 3D imagery isn’t in every single area. It’s only in deeper areas (like inlets, passes, deep channels, and nearshore/offshore)

How come it doesn’t show any seagrass on my smart fishing spots I know we have seagrass here in texas
What needs to be turned on in order for the app to show my location. On Iphone you can give location permission to any app but since this is not a real app what needs to be turned on?

Well that would be true if I could get the app to show my correct fishing location in the last couple months it seems like everytime I try and use the app to find fishing locations that your coaches dissect in th e area the app says im on some road or area not even close to water let alone where im fishing tried it on sat and I was at faver dykes state park via pelicer creek and it kept saying I was in between pelicer creek and the matanzas river on some road I have never been on in a residential community and I noticed everytime it would show the location the red dot that marked tge spot had a circle around it I actually did get it to show my proper location about 2 times one of those times it showed a red arrow the other a red dot but with no circle very weird and while the app did show oysters only after tapping the screen I would tap it and try to zoom in but then when zooming it wouldnt show them very weird it seems like a simple setup and im no computor geek but after reviewing the tutorial several times I thought I had it but was wrong just don’t get it considering I mentioned before I have another fishing app called fishing points and although it just shows a map like mapquest or bings or Google earth it’s always spot on for me I don’t even have to ask it what fishing location I’m at like the saltstrong app does when you type in your area on the search bar all I do is upload the app and go to maps and it automatically shows me where im at with gps coordinates as well and I have had this app actually a few months before joining saltstrong back in 2017 so unless I’m an idiot I would love to see your app work for me like it should or at least as good as my old fishing points app does maybe fishing points doesn’t show oysters in white dots like saltstrong one does but before you guys had your new app out you all used to just look at regular Google or other search engine maps anyways so really it’s no different then just looking at a regular online map well that maybe but at least it shows me where im at ALL the time which is alot more then your apps been doing for me!!!😒🤔

I created some routes with Smart Fishing Spots and saved them to an SD card as GPX files. When I put the card in my Garmin Echomap UHD 94SV it could see the files, but when I tried to load them to the Garmin I got error. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks Nick. It will not be until next Saturday before I can try again, but I will definitely get you the info with screenshots.
There are still some bugs looks like. I will have to stick with what I have till a later date. Looks like it will be interesting but I going to wait a bit.
Hey Jack, there are WAY more benefits than bugs. We’ve got over 35,000 anglers using this and are only aware of a few instances where there are issued based on their specific phone or device. I’d definitely urge you to try it out (and definitely don’t wait until we raise prices).
It can be a bit squirrelly but overall really good stuff, just need to reboot sometimes to get back on track.
