Your club is great I’ll admit it but believe it or not some of the things you do reports on and go by I LEARNED from fishing mags like Florida sportsman years ago wven before I started fishing inshore saltwater in fact if it wasn’t for me reading alot of there articles I wouldn’t of started fishing inshore saltwater I started fishing saltwater way back in 03 March pretty much only a few months after I retired from the navy after my 20 year career was over so I wouldn’t knock fishing mags because alot of them are great info in fact if it wasn’t for the chief editor of florida sportsman mag the redfish would of probably been wiped out here in Florida he was a strong advocate for fighting to get the redfish to be labeled a game fish because before 89 they were not and because they were not they were not managed properly and thus subsequently almost totally fished out by the gill netters and other commercial fishing methods so like I said don’t knock other info out there because while your club has done a good job in helping anglers catch more fish there are other people out there that have done alot more to preserve the sport not just promote it in fact of you think about it if it wasn’t for people like the editor of florida sportsman ( I believe his name was Carl wickstrom and he has passed a while ago) you wouldn’t be able to do fishing posts and or tactics to catch redfish like you do not to mention other fish he helped in preserving in the inshore saltwater fishing world sorry not trying to put you guys down because if I didn’t think your club was worth the money or time I wouldn’t of joined in 17 then became a life member in 18 just saying you guys are NOT the only good info out there to get info from enough said
