My Summer Lure Strategy in Under 60 Seconds

Give me 60 seconds and I’ll make summer lure selection a whole lot easier.
I use one simple strategy to quickly narrow down what I should be throwing based on what the fish are doing.
And once you see it, you’ll have a much better idea of what to reach for when the bite is hot… and when the fish just aren’t cooperating.

Start With More Vibration During Feeding Windows
Around sunrise, sunset, or anytime the fish are actively feeding, louder lures can have a big advantage.
Hardbaits with rattles, lots of vibration, and good casting distance can help you cover water and get the attention of aggressive redfish, trout, snook, and flounder.
As The Bite Slows, Move Down The Spectrum
Once the sun gets higher and the fish become less aggressive, I start dialing things back.
If they aren’t responding, I’ll quickly move toward lures with less vibration rather than continuing to force the same presentation.
And if the water is calm and clear, I’ll often go straight toward the bottom of the vibration spectrum.
Final Thoughts
The biggest takeaway is simple:
Match your lure’s vibration to the fish’s feeding behavior.
More aggressive fish? Start higher on the spectrum.
Less aggressive fish? Work your way down until you start getting strikes.
That simple adjustment can take a lot of the guesswork out of summer lure selection.

Each region has its own lures that they really like, and I think they work everywhere depending where you’re at where you’re at fishing with their structures baked and waterfall, you should catch anything with any kind babe, if some of them, you dislike more than others, we have more trust in some Bates than others like it’s because you don’t use it enough. You know, this is my opinion bye.For now

My summer selection is even more simple then that this whole summer I have used only 5 lures both my chasebaits mini flick prawn and live target 3 inch slow roll shiner at night and then a moonwalker hd mullet in the early hours of daylight then after the topwater bite the skinny lipper in the mullet hd color then about the last hour before I leave because the summer heat is getting way to hot for me either a zman spinnerbait or zman chatterbait depending on the depth in deeper waters of 6 ft and over the chatterbait shallower then 6 ft the zman spinnerbait because I have found that the flounder usually dont go deeper like the reds do I fish for flounder right before I leave around spoil islands with points and scattered oysters have been slaying them with these lures ALL summer long and have the pictures and posts to prove it so all I can say is it works for mr and I stick with it thanks for your input and all you do😶🌫️😉👍
