So going into this trip, I thought I already knew how this would play out.
But a new lure got the first fish almost immediately.

Did you try any of the different white mullet colors during your night fishing experiment? If so, was there a color that produced better than another?
No, I wanted to keep the colors the exact same for this test. I’ll try the mullet vs slam shady wake mullet next time I fish at night.
Great video, I have never thought of using a wake mullet (bass fishing type lure) at night. I will have to try this out next time we head to the coast.
It worked much better than I was expecting.
Who uses top water at night? I will be trying this technique for sure,maybe that is why they call it moon walker!!!
Topwater plugs are excellent at night when fishing shallow flats.
