New Topwater Lure (BETA TESTERS NEEDED – Limited Time Only)

http://best%20new%20topwater%20fishing%20lure

Exciting news!

We have a brand new topwater lure and we need YOUR help to test it on the water!

The MOONWALKER is the best topwater lure ever created for inshore saltwater anglers.

And in return for some feedback, we’re giving Insiders a free lure (BOGO).

Here are the amazing features of this NEW lure:

  • The Moonwalker dances from side to side on the water with ease (even completely new anglers can effortlessly walk the dog with this lure)
  • Each Moonwalker has powerful internal rattles to create added attention from nearby predator fish (it’s like mama ringing the dinner bell)
  • The red slashes on the back mimic an injured baitfish
  • Each lure comes with single in-line hooks to get stronger hooksets in larger fish (and to avoid nasty treble hooks getting caught on everything)
  • The Moonwalker is a proven white/bone color ideal for redfish, speckled trout, and snook.
  • Voted “Best Dancer” in High School

      • Each Moonwalker lure comes with two inline hooks along with two extra Owner 1/0 inline hooks (so all BOGO bundles will have 4 Owner inline hooks)
      • Make sure to purchase a pair of the Salt Strong fishing scissors with the split ring nose to quickly replace the hooks (You’ll be able to add these scissors to your cart at checkout!)

Do you use loop knot or tie straight to lure

Received my moonwalker a few weeks ago, changed out hooks right away but have yet to fish it. Have to tell ya, looks and feels cheap. Paint feels weird, almost sticky and over spray on the eye screws. Just didn’t feel like a traditional out of the box big name top water. So, while I’m still catching fish on my regular top water I’m going to stick with them. When things slow I’ll remember the moonwalker and give it a go, promise I’ll get back once I do. Am glad to see the good reviews though.

No fish on Moonwalker yet , but this is the easiest topwater to walk I have used also(fishing Guntersville Lake lots of floating eelgrass) does not get as fouled up as most topwater plugs do. Again very easy to walk with great motion.

Got my Moon Walker Saturday morning, was fishing Saturday afternoon/evening. Changed hooks, removed front split ring. Tried a new area with a friend, first cast got a hit but no hook up. Casted the point a few more time and a big Snook nailed it with no hook up. My friend was throwing a Tepala Skiterwalk and got no bites. We moved to another area that normally holds Snook and Redfish. Again had Snook nailing the Moon Walker but couldn’t get a hook up. The SkitterWalk was starting to get some attention. We moved to another Cree that is constant with Reds, because of the rock grass my grind changed to a paddle tale. Again I had good hits but again no good hook sets. My friend boats a couple of nice Reds and a few small snook. I had fish on but no hook sets! We move one more time where I finally hook up on a big Red that gets me on the bottom with the rock grass….snap, the line snaps from the rock and off goes my firs Moon Walker. I change to my bone Spook Jr and I started landing fish further down the creek.
First thoughts on the new bait is that it gets attention, befor I go again this afternoon with Moon Walker 2 I’m gonna try sharpening the new hooks.
Stay tuned!!

When the fish hits, make sure to not set the hook until you feel the weight of the fish… it’s normal for fish to miss hard plugs, so keeping the retrieve going without is crucial because they’ll often come up a 2nd time to finish it off (if the hook is set after they miss, the lure gets ripped away from them and they often won’t bother chasing it down for another try).

Just got them the other day, tied it on and went fishing. You were right the action was easy but I did not remove the split ring and didn’t replace the hooks. I had two blow ups, but no hook ups. I guess I will do both before I go fishing next.

Definitely make sure to change out the hooks that came on the lures because they are way too small.

It’s a wonder you have not had a copyright infringement case against you from heddon lures considering it looks JUST like a spook Jr same size and everything then to put your name on it? Anyways whatever but i do love the spook and decided to try yours and after paying the good price but high price for shipping ( your so called rush to the head of the line price) considering i used to get 2 day shipping for about 3 dollars more from amazon i did recieve it today after 3 days so not so bad but what i dont get is why was it shipped with smaller stainless steel inlines hooks and then 2 more per lure were the bigger ones? Why not just have the bigger ones installed and more for extras? Plus i remember quite awhile ago how you guys said using split rings on the line tie are not good because it can pinch and cut the line but you have them on your lures? Kinda weird if you ask me I think with common sense and to me your not making a lot of it but you guys do have a good club that’s why I decided to be a lifetime member a few years back but like I have always said nothing is free in this world but believe it or not my last name🤔

Joe,
You got “Free” advice. Like the saying goes: “You get what you pay for!”
Except for the Moonwalkers, which looks like the best deal since the native Americans sold Manhattan Island to.the colonists. To bad they were all gone when I went to buy. I’ll be on the look out for the restock.

What size are the single in-line that you guys include? 1/0?

Your right first issue the hooks and rings are to small. What size hook do you recommend? I put a 2/0 on back and left small on front. I don’t enjoy changing those hooks
The action looks great. Moved from Calif.
Two years ago, Never have caught a fish with top water plug. Maybe this will be the ticket
