1Fish2Fish Duo Jeff and Kristi Anderson

This week I got the opportunity to talk to Jeff and Kristi, the creators behind the popular YouTube channel 1Fish2Fish.

This husband and wife duo from Virginia Beach is the Chip and Joanna Gaines of saltwater fishing and they’re one of the better YouTube channels when it comes to genuine fishing tips.

In this week’s episode, we cover:

  • Inshore wintertime fishing in the MidAtlantic
  • The first time Kristi got hooked on saltwater fishing
  • Why some women are hesitant to go fishing
  • Fishing the Outer Banks in North Carolina

Jeff and kristi are great people. I watch all their videos and I’ve even met them on the water, they really are great people. They weren’t filming that day but they were very nice people and I’m glad they represent my home waters so well

Just watched the Red Fish video, great video ! checked the NC regs. this morning, yep will not be targeting Flounder. SO, Drum it is looking for suggested spots: inlet, marsh area where I can park. I’ll be at TWs bait and tackle first thing this Saturday.

My wife complained that I’m using up all the data watching fishing videos.

How about getting them to update the regional reports so we can stay on top the traends?!

Great podcast and glad you brought them on. I love that they cover this neck of the woods and they seem like good people. They and John Skinner are the other fishing channels I’m actually subscribed to along with Salt Strong. Actually thought they were insiders as the info is so similar.

Great to see 1Fish 2Fish representing Virginia and the OBX so well. I’ve learned a ton from their videos about fishing my home area.
