Someone Stabbed Us In The Back. Here’s How We Retaliated…

http://backstabbing

If you’re anything like me, one of the first thoughts that run through your head when you find out someone purposely stabbed you in the back is retaliation.

REVENGE.

I know because we recently dealt with it.

And I’d be lying if the first thought wasn’t how I was going to “get this person back” for the wrong they did to us.

But I slept on it, prayed on it, and listened to what God was telling me.

In a word, FORGIVENESS.

It’s usually not easy but it is always best.

I know God will take care of the rest.

Enjoy this episode and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Well… thanks for this message. I need more forgiveness inside of me. Also, I Pray for you and Luke’s company success. I really didn’t know you had a ministry calling until I heard this.

Loved the message but I love even more that you put it out there. We are told that in this world we will have trouble and I love how God takes this kind of situations to help us grow and mature to become more like Him. Thank you for sharing, stay strong, saltstrong.

Joe,
Listen to your message the first unchurched I’ve listened to and I’m in your boat brother and been there even we I couldn’t walk on the water. What I have recently learned its alway He and not me who gets me through but He expects me to act like He no matter how hard, so Father I ask you to bless……, I ask that You that I’m able to forgive them as You forgive me. And father I ask them to forgive me for what ever wrong I caused them. Amen. Close the closet door and walk away. God bless 🙏.

Hi Joe, You and Luke have done wonderful things for the sport, and have always treated people right!! The ability to forgive is difficult, but forgiveness is far better than carrying the pain of holding a grudge against someone. We all make mistakes in life, and likewise hope people will forgive us when we have wronged. We ask G-d to forgive us when we sin and ask others to forgive us when we hurt them. It is a 2 way street. Thanks for sharing a great lesson! Also, too bad for Shimano.

Tight lines,
Bob

Joe Isaiah 54:17 “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Keep on being true to God and no matter what someone tries to do you they will not prevail. Forgive because you have been forgiven by God for even more. That’s what I have to always remember when I try to hold on to that anger. It hurts you more than them when you don’t forgive. Let it go and move on brother!

Great message forgive and forget. You guys are doing a great job, and there will always be someone who wants a piece of what you have, but they don’t know how to go after it. You and Luke have done great job teaching me, a new angler in St Pete area, how to find the fish and more importantly the research it takes to provide the best tools I’ve seen since I been here. Focus on the work and not the negativity and there will be more, it’s business.

The good LORD will continue to bless you and Luke’s endeavors.
Thanks for being who you are and doing what you do!

With all due respect, Joe, I don’t think of God as a righteous capitalist. That world is not always fair and doesn’t necessarily reflect hard work and honesty. You and Luke present yourselves as smart, sincere, and well meaning individuals. In this business world, however, you are just new competition in the fishing industry. Obvious pressure has been placed on one of your vendors and now your young company is challenged to deal with it and, judging by your early success I’m sure you will.

Forgive them, but also wish that many beautiful dolphins will bless their spots while they are fishing 😉
