But it certainly doesn’t end there…
As it states in 2 Peter 1:3-11, here are the 7 other steps…
Goodness
Knowledge
Self-control
Perseverance
Godliness
Mutual affection (brotherly kindness)
LOVE
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hey Joe I had an October 13 moment in my life some years ago. God had placed an idea for ministry on me but after taking many steps in trying to get it going it never got off the ground. I had arranged financing, workers, training, a building, etc. but for one reason or another it kept getting off track to where I finally gave up. About 10 years after I gave up I attended a missions conference at my church and one of the speakers shared how they needed workers to help with a ministry they were starting in another part of the city. This was the exact type of ministry I had been trying to get off the ground. Immediately I felt as if God was saying directly to me that this is what he wanted me to do. It was crazy because I actually felt that God was talking to me even though I didn’t hear an audible voice. My next thought was an “uh oh” thought. I thought if God is talking to me what will happen if I don’t listen to him.
After he spoke I signed up to volunteer. I was placed in an area of the city (Chicago) where I never even considered going and had an effective ministry. My ministry only lasted one year. It ended because the organization had lost their funding.

Please forgive me for not being an insider member. I only fish salty water maybe one or two times a year. I do enjoy reading your emails and learning about locations and tactics.
