From Olympic Boxer To 60 Pounds Overweight To Discovering Body Stewardship
By: Joseph Simonds on February 9, 2020
Have you ever heard the term “Body Stewardship?”
It’s ok if you haven’t… I actually didn’t know what it meant until recently either.
But I’m guessing you’ve heard the term “stewardship” though, right?
If you’re anything like me, the first thought that comes into mind is financial stewardship (tithing and being generous with what God has blessed us with).
So when my buddy Dr. Ben Rall of Achieve Wellness (the same podcast guest where we broke down which sunscreens you should NEVER use – see that episode here) contacted me about doing a podcast on Body Stewardship, I was intrigued.
The more we talked about it, the more I realized just how important this is…
Let me explain.
If we believe in God… and if we believe that God gave us our unique bodies in order to fulfill his purpose with us… doesn’t it make sense that we should take care of our bodies like it’s the most treasured thing we own?
Yet most of us (including me) tend to spend more time and attention on our worldly things (like our homes and cars), while completely disregarding our bodies…
Listen in as Dr. Ben shares his story of going from an Olympic boxer to sixty pounds overweight to changing everything for the glory of God.

I’d greatly appreciate any and all feedback by leaving a comment at the bottom of the post.
You have my word I will read every single message (although it might be tough for me to get all of them considering the tens of thousands of people will read and see this).
And if you live in central Florida, definitely go check out Dr. Ben Rall at Achieve Wellness
Finally, I’d really appreciate if you’d take a second to SHARE this with your friends and family.
