Ever wondered what damage is caused to kids who grow up without a father in the house?
Here’s just a glimpse on the latest stats for children who grow up without a father in the house:
- Much more likely to go to prison
- More likely to commit crimes
- More likely to abuse drugs and alcohol
- 4 times greater risk of poverty
- 7 times more likely to become pregnant as a teen
- 2 times greater risk of dying as an infant
- 2 times more likely to be obese
- 2 times more likely to drop out of high school
And that’s just the beginning according to Fatherhood.org
Here’s the real kicker…
1 in 4 children today live WITHOUT a father in the home.
Let me repeat that…
One in Four!!!
What’s worse is that number is steadily getting worse!
That means 25% of all kids are hundreds of times more likely to commit crimes, to go to prison, and more likely to be a drain on society…
It’s no wonder there are so many lost sheep in the streets right now!
The “fix” for America all boils back to family and fatherhood.
That’s why I asked Jeff Shills from Idols Aside Ministries to join me on the podcast today.
