An Insider Member Has The Georgia State Record For Florida Pompano!!!

Insider Member Cathy Sanders of Palm Coast, FL was out fishing in St. Simons Island, GA when she reeled in the record fish.
Cathy was fishing with the Kids Can Fish Foundation when she pulled out the pompano!

It was confirmed that Cathy caught a 1-pound, 7.68-ounce pompano off the beach which is larger than the original record from 1982 at 1-pound, 7 ounces.
Cathy Sanders was fishing in the Running With The Bulls fishing tournament, organized by the Kids Can Fish Foundation.
Cathy was awarded a state record certificate with photos of her catch and signatures from the governor as well as high-ranking Georgia Saltwater Game Fish Records Program officials.
Although the record will be shared and considered a “tie” with the previous catch from 1982 due to new state laws, Cathy will have her name stamped in the record books!!!
