Inflatable Kayak vs. MONSTER Redfish (Unbelievable Fight!)
- By: Tony Acevedo

I took the BOTE LONO Aero out for a real fishing test—skinny water, finicky fish, and a serious redfish battle.
The redfish were everywhere, tails up, perfect conditions… but they wouldn’t eat. I threw everything at them—nothing. Then, after one adjustment, boom—fish on.

Very nice Tony, currently working on a conversion on my Percussion Tribe 13.5, that I bought back in 2016 I been watching your videos on kayak fishing and your intel is superior. my wife and I have learned a lot. Like we said back home ESTA FUERA DE LIGA. meaning you are on league of your own. Your instructions are precise and clear. Looking forward to watch more of your videos. God Bless.
Thank you for the kind words and great feedback Angel!
Tony, Is there any provision to fill it with an electric pump?
Hey Donn! Yes it can be filled with an electric pump. I would recommend one that has settings where you can set a certain psi so it doesn’t over or under inflate though. The hand pump I have has a built in pressure gauge.
Holy smokes! Giant!
The fun size!
Glad you finally caught fish. That red was huge! Glad you released it.
Thanks Amos! Yes all redfish in my area have to be released. I don’t keep anything inshore anyway aside from a black drum or snook every now and then if its closer to an inlet.
Monster reds, glad you found some feeding fish. Great video, Thanks Tony!
You’re welcome Donald! Thanks!
Great report and awesome review! Thanks Tony!
You’re welcome JD!
Tell me you had a good day without telling me good day. Rod bent, drag screaming and almost getting spooled, landing BULLS
Haha recipe for a great day!
Thanks for this video! I’ve had my eye on those Lono Aeros, so it’s great to get a review from a trusted source. Good tips on chasing those reds, too.
You’re welcome Chris!

Awesome job of breaking down the BOTE inflatable! Great details of the product and incredible footage of it in use! And to topic off, WOW! spectacular catches! Super job!
Thank you Dave!
That was a very inspiring and informative video!
I especially liked seeing how you dealt with the uncooperative fish in the beginning.
Thanks Tony!
