Power Prawn U.S.A. ‘Ghost Shrimp’ [VIDEO]
Note: These Ghost Shrimp Power Prawn lures are now sold out. The closest color to it is the Natural color which we do have in stock, so click here to order them.
Due to a slight mix-up, we were sent some Power Prawn U.S.A. lures that are slightly different from the original.
The ‘Natural’ color is slightly darker and less clear than the shrimp lures we were sent.
Although the lure colors appear to be the same, there are slight differences in pigment and clarity of the lures.
The Ghost Shrimp are still the exact same size and shape as the Power Prawn U.S.A. but are more translucent.
This is only a limited edition run and may not last a long time!
That is, of course, unless YOU want more of these lures!

Luke, any idea when the Hoss Helix hooks 1 pack limit will be lifted? Not economical (shipping cost) to buy one pack at a time when able to purchase several packs of the Power Prawn USA. Thanks!

Rob, I would recommend OMTD Smart Hook T-Swimbait Tungsten Hooks from Tackle Warehouse. They come in 4-packs, so they end up being cheaper than the Hoss hooks, even with the member discount.
Also, they’re much more streamlined than the Hoss, because they use a smaller, sleeker tungsten weight. Not only does this weight present a smaller visual profile, but it squeezes into the underslot of lures more readily, which exposes more of the hook when the lure is bitten — equating to better chances of hooking the fish. Importantly, the weight is close to the eye of the hook, so you get the same action with your plastic as you do with the Hoss.
The screw/spring that comes on the OMTD hook is not an Owner-style centerpin, so I replace it with a centerpin from my bag of a bajillion generic centerpins that I bought on Amazon for a few bucks — very easy to do.
Andy, thanks for pointing out those hooks. The 4/0 only comes in a 3/16 oz. size which I generally use. I have replacement center pins in various sizes. Much appreciated!

Why are the ghost shrimp lured more expensive than the originals?
That’s kind of odd no?
The normal power prawn usa lures are going for $7.99 ($6.39 for members), and the limited time Ghost shrimp color is listed at $5.59 for members.
Gotcha I saw that but if reflected after I added the pack to my cart! I like these lures and can’t wait to use them!

When are the Power Prawn USA Juniors going to be back in stock?
The Power Prawn USA lures have actually not yet been released yet… we are waiting on the clamshells so that we can pack them in a way that keeps them in the perfect form for maximum fish catching results. The lures will be added to the store early next month.
