Strong Angler Of The Week: Capt. Gene Hammond

We’re switching it up for the Strong Angler of the Week this week!
Normally the Strong Angler of the Week is someone who posted a report in the community sharing how they caught fish, made memories on the water with a friend or loved one, or helped put somebody on some fish.
But this week, we’re honoring Capt. Gene Hammond as the Strong Angler of the Week.
Last weekend he put on the Warrior Shootout, which is a charity fishing tournament benefitting Reeling Freedom.
Reeling Freedom provides fishing charters for veterans and first responders who cannot afford to enjoy the sport and we love supporting them any way we can.
The tournament had an awesome turnout with several members from Salt Strong Nation out there, and you can hear more about it in the chat with Capt. Gene below.
Enjoy!
