Best Lure for Dirty Water This Fall (Simple Change, Big Results)

When the water turns dirty in the fall, the lure you choose matters a lot more than most people realize.

Visibility drops, strike zones tighten, and fish start relying more on feel than sight.

That’s why I’m showing you the exact type of lure I switch to when the water gets murky, and explaining why it works so well.

The goal is to help you catch more fish this fall and avoid wasting money on lures that just don’t get noticed in low-visibility water.

Let’s get into it!

Nice Red and great tips. The water is very dirty here around Cape Canaveral on the Banana River. Going to use larger lures to get more attention.

Well you know me Tony my favorite lure is a spinnerbait up until the water temp is 65 degrees or warmer in fact that last report I did for a trip I did on the 9th of this month that big bull red I caught was on a spinnerbait but unfortunatly as of now both the mullet are pretty much gone now and last night as well as tonight’s weather forecast its supposed to get down in the 30s and todays high was about 53 degrees and early winter for sure so with the water im sure chilled to maybe even below 60 degrees I doubt if fall tactics is best but I’ll have to see my next trip out is going to be on the 19th of November and im going to one of my winter spots so probably fishing slower with I imagine smaller lures will be the key but like I said don’t know yer because fishing is fishing and one can make plans but sometimes those plans have to be changed just because of the weather anyways though Tony thanks for the valuable info and all you do😉👍

Tony, thanks for the tip brother. I know you typically fish out of kayaks. Is that a
gheenoe with a saltwater m
inn kota and a small ouboard on the stern you’re fishing out
of in this video?

Another good lesson Tony! I have a request… can you please let us know the approximate location where you are in the videos? It would help us better understand the conditions.
Thanks
Scott Coghill

Thanks, Tony. I always appreciate your videos since I’m only into this for about a year now learning as much as I can. I’ll be fishing in the Indian river or the lagoon tomorrow. See what I can do again thanks for all your help.
