Two years ago I was sitting on my back porch grilling some burgers and chicken wings with my buddy, Tim.
I was telling him that I felt God was calling me to use the Salt Strong platform for some form of ministry, but I wasn’t sure what…
I had seen other companies like Chick-fil-a and Hobby Lobby use their business as a ministry, but I had no idea how or where to start.
In a sentence, I was tired of leaving my faith at the door every time I went to work… but at the same point, I was scared of messing up the good thing we had going at Salt Strong.
My buddy Tim recommended that I check out a group called C12.
“C12? I’ve never heard of it?” I said.
Tim explained that the C12 Group was for business owners and leaders how wanted to build a great company for a greater purpose.
And that the “12” represented the 12 disciples (each C12 chapter has 12 members and one leader similar to Jesus and his disciples).
A few months later, I was a member of C12 (learn more about C12 here).
And I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best decisions we ever made as a company.
Not only have we made a bigger IMPACT and PURPOSE, but we’ve seen God open up some really exciting doors ever since we publically declared that Salt Strong is HIS…
So this week, I had the pleasure of interviewing C12 CEO, Mike Sharrow, to discuss what it means to live an integrated life.
