Have you been using the F.R.E.D. pink paddletail lure???
Our intention was for these lures to resemble the color of a shrimp swimming in the water.
After receiving a fresh batch of F.R.E.D. lures we noticed something a bit odd.
Our manufacturer sent us a bunch of HOT PINK paddletail lures!

Sometimes by mistake we discover new things. I remember my son using the electric chicken color for the first time I thought to myself what….. Was I wrong now its one of my go to lure color.
Requested notification when back in stock if the are going to be more. By the time I read about them they were gone.
Is ” Luscious Luke” the next color to come out?
I figured with the name FRED I couldn’t go wrong. I ordered a few packs three weeks ago, and finally got to try them out one day last week. Caught a 15″ trout on the first cast and can honestly say that has never happened before. Also matched my PB trout a few fish later. Caught 8 trout on this lure (and a decent flounder) and 0 fish on other lures in my regular rotation. Do you sell them by the pound?
Joe, do you remember the day I met you on the water? I told you, you got me in trouble with my wife over the FRED. When the FRED first came out, she said, “that’s cute, I want one”. I said that thing’s not going to catch any fish, but she was insistent so I bought her a pack of FREDs. Of course, I had to eat those words when we started catching fish. NOW, you have come out with the Flamingo Joe. Joe, are you trying to get me in trouble?? Just going to keep my mouth shut and buy her the Flamingo Joe. I’ve learned the hard way, she picks lures better than I do. “Happy Wife, Happy Live”. I’ll let you know…
Hahaha. Yes, I remember. She’s going to love the Flamingo Joe! We’ve been using them and they do work great! Appreciate you, George!
so got the email yesterday 12/07 and already OUT OF THEM next day? 12/08 ? ? Hm?
Makin’ the most of a “surprise business situation”. Love it! Rock on!!!
Can you have your supplier screw up 1000 more packs?
Where did you come from where did you go all sold out Flamingo Joe. Well at least I got I pack ordered this morning. Came back to impulse buy some more and they are all gone.
Just need to add a Zman skirt to the Flamingo Joe. Z-Man Store » (zmanfishing.com) HaHa. All kidding aside. Adding skirts to soft plastics is nothing new in the Chesapeake Bay region. It adds profile and contrast to the soft plastics. Drives the rockfish (striped bass) and other species crazy. Same as adding a paddle tail to a bucktail. Only you are adding a skirt to a jig head then adding the paddle tail.
