Conclusion
Lots of times the fish will push up as far as they can into the mangrove lines at high tide to find crustaceans and other meals they otherwise wouldn’t have access to.
The issue for us anglers becomes casting into dense mangrove trees.
Aim your casts along the shorelines and work your lures as close as possible!

Luke & Joe…Heard you mention a new custom in the beginning but never heard any more. I know you have the “Slot Machine.” It looked like Luke’s rod had a longer butt section than the SM. And insight on what to expect in the future?
The rod I was using this trip is a new one from Cashion rods. The Slot Machine rod is a higher end rod that will be in stock in the next month or two.
Even long brfore saltstrong came along I knew that fishing high tides one must be closer to structure then at lower tides because fish all know that when the tides are high or higher then normal there enemies mostly dolphins that is can get to them easier so the fish seek cover more to get away from them but I know alot of especially newbie anglers don’t know this so for that thanks for the info and all you do
